I actually want to stick my dick in it.
I have been looking at this all day:

On page 27 as you can see.
This is actually one of the sexiest. Just because its a WC skulltrail

Skulltrail overclocking is a fucking joke.
Skulltrail overclocking is a fucking joke.
No. Overclocking a quantum computer that plays sudoku is a joke. And they might not be overclocking. I have a WC rig and I don't
If you have watercooling and don't overclock, it's a waste.

To each his own. I WC for stability so when it is 100F outside my computer runs at 30 just like when It is 10F outside. Having stable temperatures put less stress on any component.
i just finished putting my PC back together after modding the case
i'll post some pictures tomorrow as it's now just about 4:00am and i think i started about 10:30pm, heh
Here's my almost finished case. The window's gone because some thinners dripped onto it accidentally – I'll have another one fitted in there by tomorrow. This is just to show the cable management and the painted black chassis.

Not bad, the cabling looks fairly tidy now.

Yeah, it's okay. Although looking at it now I should have made a hole for the DVD drive's SATA/power cable near the top. The front audio cable is annoyingly visible too. The bottom end is nicer minus the e-SATA adapter - I'm happy with that.

Wow. That's stunning. What case is it?

Sometimes e-SATA adapters can be a pain. Is there any way you could possibly route it behind the PSU casing?
The only thing I would personally try and do is pick up some black SATA cables if possible. I think that would help give a nice finishing touch.

Looks like a Lian-Li or something.
No, it's an Antec 300.

I was going to, but I can't seem to find any. I can only find red which would be all right.

I'm thinking about doing something with my 300. How did you paint it, and where did you cut holes/with what?
I'm thinking about doing something with my 300. How did you paint it, and where did you cut holes/with what?
The window was cut with a jigsaw, and then I bought some rubber U channel that I put around the edge. The internal holes were done with a drill and a jigsaw - it didn't turn out too clean but a file helps a lot with that. Where you cut them is obviously dependant on your motherboard. If you're going to add a window be careful not to cut too close to the edges, as I made that mistake and had to cut the case unnecessarily.
I used car paint to spray the chassis, one coat of primer and then two coats of satin paint (I think it has a nicer finish than matte). You need to be quite careful, most paint would scratch off quite easily, unlike the powder coated outer chassis.
I think the most important thing to note is how long it can take. To get my cabling to what I would consider a respectable level that was about 5 hours work, taking into account you're not going to get it right first time.

I'd probably just cut holes for the cables inside, would a Dremel work?
I'd probably just cut holes for the cables inside, would a Dremel work?
Yeah, it's recommended you use a dremel. Just make sure you have a good quality one with the right kind of cutting blade.

I wish I could wire my computer to that :frown:

Jk. Looks pretty nice though eh?
why would you want to water-cool the motherboard?
Edit: I NEED MORE BOXES

how does user and zorlok keep everything so tidy!? my god it looks beautiful
I finally got around to fixing my horrid cable management.

It might not look like much, but trust me, it's a big improvement.
Actually now that I look at it, I should have routed that 4pin power cable behind the motherboard tray
I should probably get some zip-ties too.

Time & effort. I've actually improved upon my cabling a few times over now. As I said before, my original plan was just to show a few people that you could in fact make a 900 look clean inside. But I ended up going a little crazy with it, and I like the results so far.
I was going to paint the interior of my case a long time ago but I've never gotten into the mood to really disassemble everything again...I might try and get around to doing it before my classes start in August.

You can either use a dremel (or similar rotary tool), or a hole saw that is intended for metal use.

Looks fantastic. Only thing is that the sky blue motherboard doesn't really fit in, a black one would look awesome.

Dammit now I'm going to have to paint the inside of my 300.
That looks so good.

MOSFETs, northbridge, southbridge, etc. overheating isn't good.
SO what is the Antec 300 liek for cable management? Im gonna be buying one soon and want to know what the it is like. And how hard is it for cutting a windows into the antec's side panel? I was thinking of doing that, having red fans and 2 red cathodes so it was all lit up red :buddy:
