I know, when I looked up his previous post I didn't scroll down enough to see the newer picture. In any case it is a nice improvement.
Oh okay. Well yeah it looks better than it did before.
Older pic of my case, still had my E6850 in use:

I'm going to put my motherboard and pci-e power cables back to the way they were before. I'll post pics tomorrow or something, I'm too lazy to do it now.
I laughed at the size of the V8 cooler once I got it onto the motherboard and into the case.

Sorry for the cell picture :S
Why the, would you need 6 PCIe Slots for?! theres not other slot available, I mean why would you need a maximum of 12 independant displays going at the same time?

Looks sweet, i can't wait to get my 4x 120mm fans in the side of my stacker.
I've been thinking about what I can do with my PC, but have been waiting for a good time when I also have enough money to do it.
I definitely want to spray the inside of my case, a nice matte black. I also really want to sort out my cable management, by means of flipping my PSU and cutting some holes for all the cables. I'm also thinking about mounting my HDD vertically which should prevent cables from sticking out. I think I'll eventually want to make a side window as well, I'll wait a while for that, though.
Probably attempt to do it this week. Any advice?

You do realize PCIe slots aren't just for graphics cards right?

The motherboard is designed for workstations, so think SCSI cards, RAID cards, and other shit. Somebody might put a Tesla card in, for example, and that uses PCI-E x16 2.0.
Just finished my new build yesterday will post some pics tomorrow.
Specs:
Intel i7 920
12 GB OCZ Gold Edition RAM
Evga 260 GTX
ASRock X58 Supercomputer
WD 640 GB
Cool Master V8
Antec 900
Coolmax 950W
Everyone getting the i7 is making me :frown:
Everyone getting the i7 is making me :frown:
Not really. Im waiting for the nm drop then ill switch. Right now its not worth it.
I say, fuck it.
My overclocked Q9550 beats out an i7 920 @ stock, and I have a really nice high-end LGA 775 motherboard, while a nice LGA 1366 motherboard would cost shitloads. These ASUS Republic of Gamers motherboards are things of beauty.
[editline]10:53PM[/editline]
Once the 6- or 8-core i7s get cheaper, I'll pick up one of those and a nice board.

I'm with you on that one. As of now I believe my Q9550 was a much better choice than performing a total overhaul. My Core2 -> i7 leap will most likely happen next year. Or I may even switch back to AMD if they've got something really nice that catches my eye.

Oh right, that must have been fun.
Still living with parents (only 16) + cheapskate dad = $200 OR $300 BUDGET TOPS, UPGRADE EVERY 5-10 YEARS.

Took the computer for a test drive in 3D mark before overclocking. Not too bad.
