yea, the new zune hd's look amazing! i just wish they'd make one with a lot more storage. I've used up more than half my space on the 80gb zune.
i have to say though, ive had it over a year and nothings wrong with it, ive dropped it a few times and its quite sturdy.

What i care about most is my work environment, I don't game much at all besides a game of Age of Empires III with my girlfriend now and then. I have a two GTX 280's in SLI and a Q9550, nothing amazing now but I can't see needing to upgrade in the near future considering I don't game. The only upgrades I'll be doing is for my work environment and maybe replacing a few of my monitors.

Don't get a laptop for it, I am doing Graphics Design and laptops are useless for it unless you are willing to fork out a fortune. I am bulding a desktop.

if you're any kind of designer you would be traveling around meeting clients and attending a whole host of other things where you need that kind of flexibility

I have an ASUS netbook that run photoshop just fine. Of course don't expect to be running Zbrush or Blender on it.
