if you have an i7 d0 you're making a mistake really. you can get some pretty discrete coolers and the CPUs are really simple to overclock - not so easy to get stable, but still relatively simple
i saw the new artic cooling freezer 7 pro rev. 2 yesterday, looks really nice. you could possibly look into some of scythe's coolers too

anyone who doesnt overclock an i7 should be arrested, they are ALL mad overclockers, i've seen low profile coolers reach 3.6 GHz without a hitch.
you should look into a Thermaltake Big Typhoon, Scythe Shuriken, Noctua NH-C12P and the likes

The way he put it is that any one who buys one and doesn't overclock is retarded. Which isn't the case. Take the Core 2 Quad for example. A lot of people by them and most of them don't overclock.

You are really stupid to think that everyone who buys i7's overclock. Most people think its decent, without overclocking.

also, i may be wrong here. but wouldn't judging a CPU by in-game performance be slightly impartial since the CPU isn't the core resource for graphics processing? surely the result would be skewed by the perfomance of the GPU

The ide dvd burner is from a old fujitsu siemens like from like 2003/04. :)
Main reason i bought it. Also worth every penny, i will pretty much never have to change it.
It's also big as fuck so a short person can use it as a bunker.
