Good wireless headphones that'll work no problem with VR? Obviously can't interfere with the HTC vives bluetooth, so I need a confirmed working on windows 10 with no issues [editline]14th December 2016[/editline] that and screw anything that's over 70$ unless its that good
good wireless <$70 pick 1
with enough money he could pick two
good wireless <$70 pick 1
fuck it sticking to tying wires together isn't that bad :v:
Alright, I need a sound device for my SP3. Over ear, on ear, buds, whatever. My only requirement is that the whole weight of them can't only be supported by being in my ear, needs something on. This will just be used for music and movies really. I'd like them somewhere in the $150 or less range. Just need to replace these Koss ones for public use. Also yes, I know I have asked for a few recs lately, but I'm actually buying this one :v:
I'm not too sure whether it was my Xperia Z2 and MacBook or not, but they had a lot of popping and crunchy sounds (but maybe that was cause they're IEM?) that made it awful to listen to. I liked them otherwise.
Might have been static because of a high noise floor. Or maybe cable strain. Even my Orion pops every once in a while when it rides in my pocket. (215/315) Bass is lighter than I'd prefer, but I hear that spinfit tips help with this and make them even more comfortable.
Hmm, I might be picking up the 215 or 315's though. As for tips, I wonder if the foam ones from my BLU-100's will fit.

So I bit the bullet and went with a USB DAC instead of an internal sound card as a desktop audio solution and I couldn't be happier. If anybody is in a similar situation, I highly recommend this. It's not an amp but it seems enough to drive my MDR-7506 and it's significantly louder than motherboard audio.
The engrish on that description is top notch.
The engrish on that description is top notch.
Yeah, it's all very Chinese, but it has a legit TI chip in it (I opened it up to check) and according to Amazon reviewers you can replace the caps to squeeze better performance out of it.
Budget: $100 - $200, preferably around the $180 or below range eBay: Sure Country: USA Isolation: These headphones will be solely used in my room, so isolation is not an issue or something I require. Purpose: Music with gaming/general use on the side. Music Tastes: All over the place, but for examples to get a feel, I'll list these: M83 - Wait Glass Animals - Life Itself or Gooey Jai Paul - Jasmine Honne - Warm On a Cold Night Porter Robinson - Sad Machine Previous Experiences: Audio-Technica ATH-A700X, It's detailed and bright, has a lot of depth and width to it with excellent soundstage plus crisp and clear vocals, but feels too 'safe' when it comes to the bass. You hear it, but it feels controlled. Hard to exactly explain. It leaves me wanting more without sacrificing too much on what I love about these headphones. Comments: I do like being balanced, but I lean more towards the warmth side over neutral. U / V Shaped preference. I could do without the highs, as in snares and cymbals being overly razor sharp. I'd like some more bass, but I'm not a basshead. I'm also only using the Xonar DGX soundcard right now to drive my headphones, but I'm okay with getting something like the FiiO E10k further along the line.

It has a warm downward sloping signature that ends with a tasteful treble roll-off, without sacrificing definition. And it's low-end is satisfying and punchy, but layered and controlled for a dynamic. They're forgiving on gear and mastering as well. But might sound very soft if you're used to brighter cans. The only issue is that they need a decent amount of power and gear synergy is recommended for them to really shine. But your card should power them well enough for general needs. I personally own a modified pair of hd650's and they continue to outpace the rest of my headphones with each gear chain upgrade. Also, I'd recommend the schiit fulla 2 as an alternative to the e10k, ak4490 DAC + solid power output + pre outs make it a great one all for anything sub 100 ATM. It's kinda funny though, I started with the ad900x with pretty much the same music and now here I am.

I may just get the Fulla 2 sometime soon while I wait for a nice sale/massdrop on the HD650/HD6xx. And yeah, I really love these cans and they were sort of my first real set of cans - been like.. four years and it just feels like I've outgrown them or something. Also hate the wing design on them but that's something else entirely.
Do they still sell any good mp3 players that have good storage. I ask so I don't have to waste battery on my phone or tab
Grab a used sansa clip zip or + edition along with a 64/128gb microsd and rockbox it. Otherwise, it's not really worth it unless you want to spend serious megabucks. (Like AK Jr | Shanling M1 or similar price tag)
HD6XX's showed up and holy bananas- bought the Magni 2 and Modi 2 to go along with it later the same day.

Yeah, K is black, CL is clear, and m+ has a 3 button remote.
Sweet, ordered the K's! And... a laser printer.
Is it modding time already? It only gets better if you're willing to sink some materials into it.
Potentially- though I'd like to try them stock with the schiit stack for a while before I make any more moves.
Alright I need some advice, would it be possible to run the Corsair Gaming H1500 USB Headset through a USB to a 3,5mm adapter and plug into the 3,5mm jack in the computer? Would I need a USB to 2x 3,5mm jack adapter for both microphone and headspeakers.. Is it even possible at all to do such a thing?

And having a simple adapter in the middle will not covert it. Your best bet would be getting new headphones that naturally terminate in 3.5mm jacks. Or if you found some kind of inline dual analogue>digital converter.

That's looking juicy. ($400 tho) http://www.fiio.net/en/products/65

I was waiting entire month for them to show up in my country, but I finally ordered Backbeat Pro 2, I'm pretty excited about them. They have everything I need, and are pretty cheap too.
So got the Shure's in yesterday. After spending 15 minutes trying to get them on they sound great, although a bit lacking in bass as you said. Not really a big deal for me though. They fit snug and the block out sound pretty well. Just have to wear them enough for this cable to remember how it needs to sit.

But their sound is really something else.
