like you need a really thick cable or something
Fits on my M50's fine without any modding. [editline]17th June 2013[/editline] Also make sure to get M50's with the cable you want, since the normal version has a curly cable.

The M50S has a straight cable if you are into that sort of thing. It is a 10 foot cable though.
Looking for IEMs with similar sound signature to my DT770 Pro 250ohm. I know I don't want the Klipsch S4(i)'s. I was heavily underwhelmed when I got a chance to listen to them.
You can always uncoil the cable if you need it longer can't you?
I don't think you understand how hard that would be. [editline]June 17th 2013[/editline] Also how shitty it would look.
Oh well ordered it anyway
If you want to take them anywhere, get the coiled cable. I had headphones with a straight 10 foot cable before, and they were nice but only when using them at my desk.

Beats are the most overrated, overpriced headphones ever of all time
Beats are the most overrated, overpriced headphones ever of all time
Why are you saying this now? I believe everyone knows that - and no-one as far as I've seen has been discussing them.
My buddy bought a pair after his turtle beaches broke. He uses them to record music. :|
Are PortaPros still the golden standard for cheap portables, or has something else slipped through the cracks since I last bought a pair of headphones? My old Bose headphones are falling apart, and I need a new pair for walking with.
JVC HA-S500 or HA-SA400 if you're willing to import
Is it dumb to buy the ATH-M50's without an amp? I plan on using it for pc gaming.
Can someone find me some good sub-100$ wireless over the ear headphones?
Is it dumb to buy the ATH-M50's without an amp? I plan on using it for pc gaming.
No they sound good without one, no amp necessary.
Got the Schiit Modi/Magni combo since I'm selling my RME Babyface. Haven't used it yet but everyone says the highs can get a big shrilly which I'm not too concerned about.
After 45 days, my (cheap as shit) earphones arrived: I can't really complain, they costed 4,52 € and they doesn't sound bad, they have a terrific bass. The only bad thing is the really thin cable, but the earphones themselves are a pretty tight fit.
Starting to get headaches from the m50s, but I think I just have to get used to it.
My ATH-AD700 are in their death throes right now, the cable twisted halfway down the cord and exposed the wires which also managed to wear down. The cord is coming apart where it connects to the headphone too. I'm thinking about rebuying them though because they were pretty fantastic, I've dropped them hundreds of times(I'm insane clumsy) and it hasn't affected them at all. Unless someone has a better suggestion? [editline]22nd June 2013[/editline] I listen to metal and don't care if they're open or closed.
Starting to get headaches from the m50s, but I think I just have to get used to it.
It is because they are too tight. Stretch them out over something like your computer for a while.
Why not just recable them?
I never considered this. I've never done something like that before, I've googled around and I think I can handle it. Where would I pick up a cable for it though? [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline] I would probably want to swap out the ear pads too.
Budget: <$70 eBay: No Country: United States Isolation:Circumaural Purpose: Gaming and music. Music Tastes: Instrumental, EDM, Rock, Hip-Hop Previous Experiences: JVC HARX500 (broken), currently using some shitty Panasonic earbuds. HELP

HELP
I strongly recommend the JVC HA-RX700 headphones. They're gigantic and ugly as all hell, but I absolutely love how they sound, and most of the internet seems to agree. I got these with similar budget/interests, and I haven't been disappointed. [editline]24th June 2013[/editline] Also, for those of you looking for cheap microphones, I got this microphone. It has pretty bad reviews, but only by a few people, so I figured that for $10 it was worth the risk. Turns out that, in my opinion, this is probably the best microphone I've ever had for $10, let alone under $30. Here's a test recording without any clean-up/adjustments/boosting. This is a podcast microphone, so it's a bit more cumbersome than a clip-on, but it's got awesome sound quality for $10.
Hey guys, i'm looking for a good headset with a mic. Which one would you suggest? Or are there other options such as a modmic?
Hey guys, i'm looking for a good headset with a mic. Which one would you suggest? Or are there other options such as a modmic?
Almost all headsets are shit for the price and you should most probably get a pair of headphones and a mic separately.
If you're from the UK this mic is cheap, and really great sounding for the price (£12) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trust-16973-Starzz-Microphone/dp/B003MFYY3Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372184346&sr=8-1&keywords=trust+starzz
Just check that for both your Mobile & laptop. Sometimes works in the Laptop but not in mobile.
You know what's awesome after losing your Miracle ? Get a dummy shell with drivers inside for taking pics and the feeling when you plug these in to headphone out and hear the sound :) Now I got 2 Miracles and 1 Merlin. And listening to music is pure bliss now.
