I'm really confused, do your m50s not work with your front panel right now? Why?
The front panel is loose as shit from me hitting it, I have a nasty habit of spinning around to stand up and hitting the giant ass audio technica jack, I bent the plug on my m50's and had to send them back.
Now that they're back, I want to get a small extension to plug into the front panel, and plug the m50's into, alleviating and problems from me kneeing it.
The adapter will work but it looks very cheap, and I've had cheap headphone adapters from amazon that have ended up only working on ear or lose connection at the slightest movement
any recommendations? I need on preferably 1.5 ft or less
Either those or HTF-600's.
Which one would be better? Reading the reviews people are saying that the Panasonics are better, the JVCs are better, or that both of them aren't that good. Kinda confused to which one I should be using. I mostly listen to everything but classical, if that helps. If they are the same, I would probably just get the Panasonics seeing as the cord is shorter.

I'd go for this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cables-To-Go-Velocity-Extension/dp/B002DR4F8Q/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1363294206&sr=8-7

Shit you're not from the UK, Just look for something from a known company with good reviews, you get what you pay for usually with audio
I'll have to keep looking then. It's oddly hard to find short cables

this looks about the same. Is cables2go a reputable company?
again, wow. changing the equalizer really makes a difference in what i'm hearing.
Budget: 100$
Country: US
Isolation: Circumaural
Purpose: gaming, voice chat, music
Music Tastes: electronic, some rap, a little bit of everything
Previous Experiences: gimmicky gaming headsets, i'm just done with them. I already have some ideas of what Mics I could get but I would like to see if there are any good headphones. I'd prefer Sennheisers if possible but if theres any other brand headphones that could be recommended I'm all for it.
again, wow. changing the equalizer really makes a difference in what i'm hearing.
I'd hope so.
Budget: £30 - £70
eBay: Yes
Country: UK
Isolation: Closed
Purpose: Music, little bit of gaming
Music Tastes: All rounded mix between music with guitars and drums to music with lots of bass.
Previous Experiences: Sennheiser HD205
I'm thinking of going with the Sennheiser HD239's but I heard there are cheaper options.
Budget: ~$70 USD
eBay: Nien danke.
Country: United States of America
Isolation: Comfortable Closed-Air
Purpose: Gaming and Music, can be portable, but is not a requirement
Music Tastes: Really all kinds, I don't have specific tastes.
Previous Experiences: Cheap-o $13 headset. It was decent.
Comments: I'm also hoping to get a nice microphone to make Skype chat and VoIP for multiplayer games. Any recommendations would be a bonus.
can not decide between brainwavz m5 or r1
they're both the same price on amazon.
Thinking about getting these: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-419-Headphones-Black/dp/B005SNPTS2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363545210&sr=1-1&keywords=sennheiser+hd+419
any opinions?
Those who uses this, where do you guys put the microphone? Does the plastic break easily?
Not related to mic. I got an sennheiser cx200 and when i plug the earphone in, i get a loud hissing noise. When i plug it on my ipod, no noise. How do you get rid of it
It's really quiet. The mic that is.
Basically trying to decide between Klipsch S4s, Dunu Crius or Dunu Ares.
Budget: Around £45 (Enough for any of the three above)
eBay: No
Country: UK
Isolation: IEM
Purpose: Music from my phone/maybe ipod touch (Phone is Nexus 4)
Music Tastes: Metal mainly, sometimes indie rock (Examples being Corelia, Cloudkicker, Adept, Imagine Dragons, Cage the Elephant and similar)
Previous Experiences: Apple earbuds
Comments: Dunu Ares was recommended to me before, I still think they're a good option but I noticed the Crius are cheaper and the S4s seem popular, so I wasn't sure which to go for.
Obviously I'd be open to recommendations you guys/girls have, as I have no idea what to look for.
Forgot to mention that the only thing that bugs me about these options is there's no headset button on any of them. I have an app that lets me change the tracks with a double/triple press of the button and pause with a single press on the apple headphones.
If you want the control thing, I'd get the Klipsch S4i.

Any good? Anyone have experience or able to recommend something better around the same price?

It's good, I doubt you can find a better amp+dac for the same price without going the DIY route.

I have this amp and use it all the time with my K550s.
I'd recommend it.
I've been looking into the Nakamichi NK780. Does anyone have any experience with them? (They're ~$16 USD at kmart)
My IEMs do that thing where only one side is playing due to a faulty wire. Is it possible to fix them? They're these, by the way.
It's really quiet. The mic that is.
I already got the mic, but i have no idea where to put it. People say they hear fine.
Good IEC for listening to a wide range of music ( rock, piano, the lot ) for under 20 quid? No point in using the request layout thing because I'm really not fussed what I get as long as I can listen to rock and piano music without it being shit.
I'm considering...

I imagine the JVC ones would be better, though maybe overly bassy.

very good and cheap, these sound amazing, but the cable can cause some sound problems when it rubs on your clothes though, since it's fabric. They also go in your ears differently than most headphones do like this

another good choice

those are my suggestions, I've personally used both and they're good.

They have pretty good reviews, but I don't know anyone who's tried them personally.
For $16 you can't go too far wrong though, really.

Awesome! Tell me how they are!
Awesome! Tell me how they are!
I had a pair of them, and I recently bought a pair of the smaller versions with the mic
They sound VERY powerful, they're really loud, and the bass is incredibly deep (if you're into that kind of thing)
they're also the toughest pair of IEM's I've ever owned, headphones rarely last me, but these lasted nearly a year of everyday use, and only died when I acciddently ran over them with a longboard
