Budget: $100-$200 eBay: Yes Country: Australia Isolation: Close/Open(whichever has better sound) Purpose: Gaming, voice chat, tv/movies, and music Music Tastes: rock, classical, etc Previous Experiences: razor megalodon, senn HDsomething, and HTF600-S Comments: I remember reading in the V3 thread that the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (80 ohm) is a great for gaming, though it was preferable that it needs an amp. Any suggestions for this? I found one on ebay though it's $50 more than my max budget(I'm willing to spend the extra $50 if nothing else is better).

Budget: 20-40 euro eBay: not a fucking chance Country: The Netherlands Isolation: nope Purpose: Desktop speakers for music and gaming Music Tastes: Metal/rock Previous Experiences: none Comments: I don't exactly know where to ask this, but this seems like the best place. I really really want some good new desktop speakers for my pc. I currently have these old 1999 Compaq speakers, but the one on the left is broken and the one on the right only has 1/2 speakers that works. Any new speakers would be an upgrade for these I have now, but I don't exactly know what a good price is, or what a good or bad speaker is, so please help.
facepunch isn't anywhere near that http://www.thebiggestboards.com/ http://www.big-boards.com/
The first site doesn't appear to be tracking FP at all, and the second one shows FP as it was a few years ago when the URL changed from forums.facepunchstudios.com

Are there any decent wireless gaming headsets for under £75 or would that be asking too much? Failing that, any recommendations for wired headsets around the same price? I guess I could go as high as £100 but I'd rather not.
Does anyone know if these are any good? http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-DT-880-Pro-Headphones-250/dp/B001B1QENY/

Damn. Amazon can't ship it to my address :( edit: Found one on ebay. What amp should I also get?

Any Microphone (Preferable USB type) for VoIP recommended for under £35? Would love to have a Desktop microphone which captures my voice decently without too much static noise. And could Webcam microphone do the job for me? I need a webcam, and see that most of them seemed to have build in microphone.
My JVC Extreme Explosives arrived. They sound great, they're comfortable and the bass isn't too overpowering.

I jog frequently with in-ear earbuds a lot, and most of the ones i've tried stay in my ear perfectly fine while jogging. However, my headphones will typically become unusable after 6-12 months due to the wire nearby the base of the adapter becoming either pulled or partially disconnected. Generally it will cause one or both ears to stop working entirely. Does anybody have tips for maintaining the life of headphone cords while jogging (or in general)? Or perhaps storing the headphones themselves to prevent excessive wear. Jogging is so boring without being able to listen to music.
