Verizon on iPad is a joke. Anyone can just get a MiFi from Verizon and hook it up to a iPhone.
That makes no sense whatsoever. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
"iPad for Verizon" Verizon gives you a connector that converts 3G/4G to WiFi, and since the iPad can use the WiFi, it's considered using Verizon on iPad.
Yeah ok, but what does the iPhone have to do with mifi?
I use the Droid 2 which is amazing. Never have any problems with it unless I tinker with the firm ware. But other than that it is perfect. Oddly though, the service is great every where I live except for my house. Works fine at my friend's places just not mine.
I'm so sorry. Have fun with shit phones and terrible customer service.

You still didn't answer what the fuck the iPhone's role is in all this.

Except the iPhone already has 3G connectivity. Unless the point you're trying to make is that instead of waiting for a Verizon iPhone you could just get a Mi-Fi and use it as a cellphone service. Thing is, the MiFi thing is just data. You couldn't make any calls with it anyway.
Google Voice :eng101:
Not a reasonable alternative. Plus, don't iPhones have to be activated anyway? Couldn't activate it with a MiFi, could you?
