• Need a new "Gaming" Mouse

Get a Razer Deathadder. I've had a Lachesis, now I'm on a Mamba. And oh yeah, you need 5600 DPI. You just have to put the mouse sensivity at 0.1. The higher DPI the better tracking / precision.
1. The Logitech MX518 has mouse correction. Don't get it (used one for 2 years) 2. Laser mice are gimmick shit. 3. DPI doesn't mean shit. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-B75-00115-Intellimouse-Explorer-3-0/dp/B000JVRFHG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1271684936&sr=8-1 That is the best mouse for gaming. Fatal1ty uses one, Stermy uses one. On the box it says "The number one choice for top LAN players" It's only 450dpi, but like I said, DPI doesn't mean shit. OC that polling rate to 500hz or 1khz and you have a 2ms / 1ms response time and a mouse which will track at any human movement speeds, which is what REALLY matters, not some DPI laser gimmick.
The Razer fuckin' Naga. Best mouse for MMO's. I have it, and I love it.
What are those buttons for anyway ?
What are those buttons for anyway ?
You can set your own binds for it.
How do you kill a mouse? I'm still using my old oem mouse that came with my computer. 2 Years ago.
I'm using a wireless Microsoft keyboard and mouse from 5 years ago.
What are those buttons for anyway ?
Spells, keybinds, etcetera.
I use this And I love it.
Buy one of these bitches First you're like "what? Isn't that shit from, like, the stone age??" well I've got news for you motherfucker, it is. This is the first windows intellimouse with revolutionary optical sensors, proves that you don't need any more balls to kick ass! 2002 up in this motherfucker! Sure, it doesn't have 10000 programmable buttons, but look at that old school gray/beige colour and that bad ass red glow. You'll be kicking every razerfaggot ass all trough azeroth with this bitch. How do I know all this, you ask? Personal experience. Look at me, then look at you. Don't you wish you could be more like me? This mouse taught me how to be the man I am today. Ever been to that LAN-party where suddenly all friendly gaming stops. It's time to separate the men from the boys, to fight tooth for tooth and show that you're god damn best guy in the room. When you're there on de_dust2, no ammo and you've only got that piece of shit USP and facing two or three friends and you're all like "Bring it on!" Of course you haven't, It'd be silly. But that day might come, and what better way to prove that you're superior but with that red glowing beige coloured motherfucker. And the best of all, since it's so old the price is jus- oh nvm
I use this And I love it.
It has horrible input lag personally. My dads work used them before and they sucked.
The thing with the Mamba is that you don't need 5600 DPI (if you're going for 'pro gaming', most pros use 400-800dpi) and it's awfully expensive. Might as well save some money and put it towards something like a 120Hz monitor if you're into gaming.
I just bought 3 20" Monitors for eyefinity, I need a new mouse and so many mixed reviews I wish there was a decent PC shop near where I live, PCWorld doesn't count It sees half the people are saying yes razer, the other half are saying shit drivers So its deciding between MX518 and G500
Buy one of these bitches
i have that, but in black without the red and silver bit
It has horrible input lag personally. My dads work used them before and they sucked.
Strange, I don't have input lagg.
Buy one of these bitches
I had one of those for so long the white turned yellow
Strange, I don't have input lagg.
Oh man you got lucky they bought like 20 of these and I couldn't stand using a single one.
I'm smarter than that; I never even bothered buying a Razer product. But I see enough complaint threads to know that they're shit. Not to mention several friends who went Razer to be cool shortly switched back to the better Logitech.
Wow, wait, so you've never owned a razer product, but your the fucking expert? Bullshit, I love my DeathAdder. It's the best mouse I've ever owned. I've NEVER once had any sort of problem with it. The drivers are fine. Anyone that says otherwise is on a bandwagon.
Never owned one, but I've used a lot before. And they're all plastic shit.
Is there any reason you seem to hate them? As I personally have no complaints.
Is there any reason you seem to hate them? As I personally have no complaints.
Made from cheap, non-durable material. Too expensive. Shitty drivers. Worse support. Worse than Logitech by a lot.

Brother stepped on an old wireless Microsoft mouse, cracked. It's a light-feeling mouse, though that doesn't make it a piece of shit mouse. You actually have to own one to have a valid opinion on it.

Anyone who is saying the MX518 has problems needs to get the fuck out of a mouse thread. MX518, Steelseries Xai, Steelseries Kinzu, Deathadder, Intelli3.0. These are your best options and I guarantee that any other mouse is inferior in comparison as far as tracking goes. I'd definitely recommend a Kinzu over the MX518 because of it's 1000Hz polling rate. I've heard the Mamba doesn't have negative acceleration but it's a piece of shit in every other aspect. You don't need over 800 DPI/CPI, trust me. If you're looking at "gaming mice" to improve your aim you might want to consider that there has never been a pro 1.6/source player who used anything other than the mice I listed. I believe there was one cgs player who used some random razer mouse and he got cut because he was so bad at aiming.

Like one scroll will count as two and it will jump if you even touch the scroll wheel, as if the gear's popped out of position or something. You have to go apeshit on it to get it working normally again. This problem happens more on the MX518, but is still evident on the G5.
had a lachesis, was uncomfortable, got a g5

I've used my Razer Diamondback for over 2 years now. It works like a charm.
some razer mice do suck, but as it happens, this one is great
All you will ever need
I have the MX518, the left button is fucked up though. I've had it for 2 years so I think I'll buy another one of the same. It feels great and has a few extra buttons on the side, useful. I also like the on the fly sensitivity buttons.
