Pepper;49690007']Got the machine for around £500 with no screen and it had a crumpled back, got a new screen, back casing, 256GB blade SSD and a 4TB HDD for another £600. With how windows is going, this will be my main desktop now. A lower specced one would be like £200 more on the used market :v:
Dang, that's a pretty good deal, considering the specs

[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LTV74ja.jpg[/thumb] A little while back when I had the chance to try 3-way SLI. [sp]It ran very hot![/sp]

Finally got to replace my monitor after >10 years, used to be a Dell 2001FPW. No prizes for guessing what my next upgrade will have to be.
New PC I just built. Is better, big improvement from last gaming laptop I was using and am very happy with it. Oh and it says the graphics card is R9 300 series, is actually R9 390, most likely because I bought one that had a Japanese brand on it, which did not brand the card itself very much, so is almost like reference card, other than the dual-fan cooler. RAM is also Crucial DDR4-2133.
I have the 390 Sapphire Nitro 8gig Going to build something similar to yours, You love it? What would you have done different?
1600x1200 60hz to 3440x1440 100hz with better everything? Hell of an upgrade.
What software are you using to display those images of your specs?

Got some RAM and SATA cables from a friend. Pretty much the only upgrade I'll be making to this thing, for a while, other than a new CPU cooler.
My Custom 980 Laptop Edition build. [T]http://i.imgur.com/3MXv4em.jpg[/T] Got it from PCSpecialist who i would never recommend to anyone for as long as i live. But unfortunately i cant return it/get it refunded so i'm stuck with it.
I've now had this PC (first one I built), for over a year now. Sorta forgot the anniversary but eh. Still works through every game I play with 60FPS beauty, so I'm happy. Really is a lovely machine.
Built this beauty a couple of months ago, been working like a charm for everything ever since. Only thing I could see upgrading is the future at the moment is the SSD
Quite happy with it but it does run a little bit hotter than I'd like. Nothing extreme though. Not sure why my GPU temp is so high though even when idling.
Repost from a while back: I won't be upgrading for a while longer, it's still more than enough for now. [t]http://puu.sh/h3ZRi/b2e654076e.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/bJX9R/a2edb16cd3.jpg[/t]

So It's nothing to worry about, you change the curve yourself if you don't like the temps.

I need an upgrade...
You'd be fine with a new graphics card, everything else is good.
Pepper;49742633']You'd be fine with a new graphics card, everything else is good.
im on a low budget. I already upgraded it from a GT 530. But indeed i need a better one. Even if everything else seems "good", its old. Which equals to slowness. Actually just upgrading to an SSD would change my experience with it. But then again, 17 years old and no job :p
Sigh.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7lFZ3Su.png[/thumb] 512gb ssd
I'd really like to swap out this HDD for an SSD at some point.
