It's just the graphics card that's holding you back, i'm still on ivy bridge, one generation newer than yours and it takes whatever i throw at it no problem. Old does't automatically mean bad.

Thermal sensors on the 8350 are fucked so you won't get an accurate reading.

Nothing reads 8350 temps correctly except Speedfan which seems to be accurate. AMD Overdrive shows Thermal Margin but that's the number of degrees you have to play with before the processor throttles itself or shuts itself off to avoid damage, not its temperature

Mine is probably closer to the 30's-40's. I use a hyper 212+ for a cooler. I've been running it for a couple years now and I haven't had any issues yet. As long as you have decent cooling it shoudln't be a problem.

I am very sorry for being so late but I feel I must deliver. Yes, I love it, expensive but undoubtedly worth it. Runs most, if not all, of my games very smoothly at high settings. I say go for it.

8470W I got for $50 with a busted case. Put it in a 6470B with a busted board I got for free. SSD was a whopping $70 or so two years ago.
$120 and I've even managed to OC' the card to 580/900. Now if I could just touch them volts.

Always make my friends nervous when they see the wires so close to the bottom fan.

I did some benchmarks to make sure that Im not bottlenecking my gpu but am not sure.

cpu is 3.0ghz but I could overclock to 3.4ghz without a problem.
Finally finished my build in a SMA8. New monitors, custom sleeved cables, and more SSD's are on the list for upgrades. The two holes are because I didn't test fit the radiator. I have a new mid-plate to drill whenever I need to open it up again.
