this is the mini pro's big brother
the word "big" in your post has comical value.
I wanted some hot mini pro on mini pro action
Would they give birth to an Xperia pro?
or y'know, they could have a "special" child such as the Xperia play..
Or an X10 Mini Pro...

There should be a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Touch HD Pro+ 4G LTE.
you know it never occured to me exactly how much of the stuff that came preloaded onto the stock Samsung ROM was stuff I actually used until now

I still use stock Sense for the same reason. I'm glad my stock ROM is 4.0.3.
How would I go about and solve a problem with an rampaging app? Google Now FC on me all the time. How would I solve it. Can someone upload the latest Google Now apk?

I'm just glad everything I've so far took the time to look for is on the Play Store.
The one thing I'm honestly missing is being able to swipe a contact's name to call or text them, and I doubt I'll be able to get that without flashing stock again.

Well that and not having the Turn On USB Storage prompt come up every time I plug my phone in but I'm sure there's a setting for that, right

Yup, that was my favourite feature of TouchWiz.

It was super handy and easy to use. Wish they had it in CM9/10 like toggling the screen brightness with the status bar.

that's odd, I seem to have that option (though I had to go into the settings to put it there)
Does anybody elses phone stop working if it gets too cold or too warm?

Try notification toggle. It's free and works for me.
Does anybody elses phone stop working if it gets too cold or too warm?
Stop working? no. Get insanely slow? yes.
Stop working? no. Get insanely slow? yes.
Ahh, my phone is so slow normally that when it's cold it actually just full on stops working, the digitizer and hardware buttons stop working and all I can do is lock and unlock it and it'll work for say, 5 more seconds before freezing :v:
[editline]28th October 2012[/editline]
Out of interest what phone do you have?

RAZR Maxx. I get crazy hot because Moto's RAZR ICS is shit.

Ahh, I was wondering if it was a HTC thing but apparently not
[editline]29th October 2012[/editline]
Somebody commented on a youtube video about some headphones that his Dre Beats were superior to every other headphones because they emulate the sound and feel of being in a club (too much bass) and when I responded calling him a moron he just leaped into a rant about how I'm probably an unemployed father who uses linux or something
Youtube, not even once.
Thinking of selling up my Atrix and buying a Nexus S. Sick of non-functional ROMs and Motorola have just doubled back on their promise of an official update.
Anyone want to tell me why this is a dumb idea or am I pretty much good to go?
and then you'll need to buy a new device to get 2 more mini apps
they can make android better
i like what samsung did with note 2, for example, it's just that it'll always have stupid bugs
always have laggy updates
then there's shit like one x and one x+
and i can 100% guarantee that x+ will get more updates than one x
Yeah, all .2 GHz of that overclock will make a difference.
First time of flashing a custom rom to my GS3.
Doing a nandroid right now and then probably flashing Paranoid android for jellybean!
Yeah, all .2 GHz of that overclock will make a difference.
It will when the carrier decides the original X is a legacy device and that they'd rather users just buy a new phone to get the new version.
Yeah, all .2 GHz of that overclock will make a difference.
Yes because 0.2 of an inch makes such a big difference in screen size.
When I make a nandroid backup through CWM they're tiny, I'm pretty sure it isn't backing up anything?

My last nandroids were ~4.5 GBs
Running CWM 6.0.1.2
Any help please?
Really want to flash paranoid android tonight.
Update:
(Nevermind this is just a new backup format for CWM 6.x apparently.)
It will when the carrier decides the original X is a legacy device and that they'd rather users just buy a new phone to get the new version.
Carriers are a completely different story. HTC barely has to do a thing to support both simultaneously, assuming that they keep software as similar as possible.

Carriers being dicks?
Next you'd tell me earth revolves around the sun.

I'd really stay with stock JB if I were you.
Stock ROM's are the best ROM's.
many of those ROM cookers just throw every "tweak" into the ROM, and add some ugly theme.
Most of the time, they don't even know what they are doing.
Opera is having all sorts of trouble rendering Web pages. Would swap to chrome but I'm not on a version of Android that can run it. Tried dolphin the other night and it was really stuttery.

Help I am becoming disillusioned.

Generally I agree. There's one exception: CyanogenMod is not bad if there's a build for your phone, because it's built from AOSP and for some phones it's the only way to get a newer Android version.
