So in the midst of all this, had Google mentioned anything about the whole "anyone can make a nexus" rumor?
I know it probably won't happen, but it was a super interesting rumor.
I'm just scared Samsung will now only make fat bloated looking devices because they're afraid of getting shafted by Apple again, I really don't want the S4 to follow the new nexus 10's design
Well it is true that there are many makers for nexus devices, Samsung, Asus and LG.
It's possible there may be some sort of app to do it wirelessly, but otherwise the answer is no.
There's got to be some way, if the Nexus 4/10 video is anything to go by they at least have screen recording capabilities. Maybe just recording with no projection though, could just be timely editing.

And HTC.
HTC might be able to make a nexus device, seeing as they make really nice hardware but their software is fucking terrible, but the nexus runs stock android, so HTC can't shit all over it
The Nexus 4 looks absolutely beautiful, but I'll wait until my contract runs out on this One X before even considering my next Android phone.

If they ever make another Nexus, I hope Google will stop them from planting the Beats branding and software on the phone.

Urghghh if it came with "beatzzzzz mlg monster enegery audio!!!1" I'd avoid buying it until it can be removed from the phone

May I introduce you to LG Optimus 2X running Android 2.3?
And now that I'm talking about the Optimus 2X, there's official and apparently pretty much fully working CM10 for it now:

I was studying with some of my classmates for a chemistry test, someone was discussing how they wanted a new HTC phone because of beats audio. Another guy (who turns out to be a Telus employee) and I looked at her, looked at each other, and said "No that's a terrible reason" in perfect sync :v:
Anyways, my two biggest issues with the N4 is that it has a) no removable battery, and b) the headphone jack on the top of the device. I prefer a removable battery since I can replace it at a later date and remove it during tests. And I like the headphone jack on the bottom so I can pull out the phone from my pocket and read the display without having to flip it around.
Although I use my iPod touch for.music anyways so it isn't as much a bother for me as it is for others.
Also god damn the N4 had glass on the back of the device. Did we learn nothing from the iPhone 4?

I'm not talking about updates I'm talking about pure, crappy software, never before have I had a phone freeze when it gets a call so that I can't answer it

I'm used to the headphone jack being on the top of my iPod classic, I just subconsciously flip it around with one hand when I pull it out my pocket, and flip it back when I put it back in

Does anyone know how to remove that thing on the side, it's pretty annoying.

I wasn't talking about updates either. Overheating, freezing, sleep of death, rebooting..
So Order and Chaos Online finally got an update and my phone can actually play it now. The graphics are shit and the controls are very glitchy...
Yeah, if I do get a Nexus 4, it would run so well with amazing graphics and stuff...

So why tout it as something more? Why push incredibly expensive headphones?
Also there's beats branding on the back of the device. I hate carrier and OEM branding so much, why not just put some god damn soft drink logos on my back cover and dedicate half my screen to advertisements while you're at it? Optimally I'd have no branding, but if you've gotta put something just put your Logo and make it aesthetically presentable.

That's right! Those shitty headphones will sound automagically amazing with Beats Audio!
/sarcastic marketing
I'm getting fed up of running out of memory on my phone, which of those magical sd partition app dealies should I use and how can I set it up?

Whaaaaat the fuck is that? OK Verizon take note of one important part.

That looks absolutely awful.

The good thing is you can buy yourself these stickers that will over that logo and still give a decent look as if the stupid logo wasn't there in the first place.
What's next, branding on every single photo you take?

You talking about creating a SWAP partition?
Make sure your kernel support it first, if that IS what you're talking about.

I'm still astounded by that; whose idea was it to put it there instead of on the back like most of their other phones?
The Verizon logo is hideous as it is.
Anyone here Order and Chaos Online?
