Should I buy my pile of nexus 7's from newegg or source them from local stores? I'm going to check them all for defects before I wrap them for the holidays and such.. I figure it might be cheaper by a bit from newegg but what if I have to return one?
If you worry about having to return it at all get it locally since it is the easiest.

Finally got the Jelly Bean (4.1) OTA for my SGS3! Rooted using CF Auto-root, was done in 20 minutes. Me like. ..now the wait for 4.2 starts..
Can anybody tell me if the GS3 is easily scratched/marked? I want to buy an invisibleshield for it, but I don't feel like getting one on Christmas day and having to sit and wait for an hour staring at my new phone so it dries :v: so I want to know if it'll be fine for a little while

Have it since May.

jesus christ what do you people do to your phones
Garry/Kaabii: I know you hate the look and feel of Sense 3.6. But if you want to use the device to learn the ins and outs and help customers without dealing with the aesthetic's of Sense, this might help a lot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448255 Go with Ice HD skin w/o transparent status bar, it really does make the skin so much better.
I actually don't mind a fair amount of Sense 3.x, it's just that it's sluggish and honestly redundant now. Sense 4.x is the one I don't like across the board. The stuff like grey textures and gradients is like HTC wants to bring back Gingerbread, I find it appalling.
Had to laugh, here all the carriers have come out to say they won't be stocking the nexus 4, my guess Google told them to fuck off with all their tender loving bloat they like to stick on.
Trying to apply a screen protector when you have eczma is the worst form of hell.
jesus christ what do you people do to your phones
This phone has been handed down from my mates dad to my mate, to my girlfriend and to me, and a few odd people inbetween, it's been spilt, stood on, dropkicked, slid across gravel, you name it, I'd never treat my own phone like that but this phone is just unkillable

Stills works. That was an EXCELLENT phone and my first smart phone.
Nokias are just downright badass, I wish they'd make some android phones though..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273
What's the difference with CF-root?
What's the difference with CF-root?
AFAIK CF-Root is a modified stock kernel, wich also comes with Root and CWM recovery. And CF-Autoroot is just root with stock kernel, and stock recovery.

http://www.theverge.com/2012/10/31/3579564/asus-google-nexus-7-sales-one-million-david-chang now start making some fucking apps for it
now convince the major developers to start making fucking Tablet UI for it
FTFY.
Nexus 4 is launching with 42Mbps DC-HSPA. Will bring speed gains over HSPA+ and hopefully can help offset the downside of having no LTE support. [editline]31st October 2012[/editline] Also why is it you need Jellybean to run Google Now on Android when it's available in an app on any iOS device. Google should just put it in the Google Search application on Android.
FTFY.
why, the phone ui thing is perfect for it (but you can download the paranoid android ROM that adds tablet UI if you really want) - I'm more worried about the N10 personally also I've tried the new 4.2 keyboard and while it's way faster than swype it's also far more innacurate unfortunately (http://pocketnow.com/2012/10/30/android-4-2-stock-keyboard-now-available-for-download-unofficially)

Not how the tablet uses the phone interface for the launcher. Phone interfaces are completely unacceptable for applications, they're meant to be viewed in a limited screen space.
Curved edges of N10 are horrible. Makes it look like a toy.
