I've made a huge mistake by enabling uploading location data to Google.
Home to school drive on Sunday (about 50 miles, blue line is actual route, heading north)

Seems legit.

Also made a quick stop in Chicago while at work on a Saturday in January.

Are you sure you didn't fly to work one day using one of those acrobatic airplanes? :v:
Apparently, my old phone was reporting me as bouncing between Sioux Falls and Chicago every two minutes. I wonder how I traveled 102 thousand miles....
My heart skipped a beat today when I thought I had lost all my photos and videos on my GNex for good after putting it back to the factory image, but I remembered last month I made a full system backup of it, and all my photos and videos are safe and sound.
I was worried I had lost all my air show photos and videos from the second one I went to during the summer, but I still have them! Hooray for backups!

Precious B1 Lancer engine is safe.
And that is why I would want an SD card on my phone, when I flash stuff, things won't break.
or you could embrace the cloud and auto-backup all your photos to dropbox
or you could embrace the cloud and auto-backup all your photos to dropbox
Hah, "the cloud" has a horribad ToS AND/or security.
with a SD-card you're only screwed if you bought a shitty one or that you were thickheaded enough to wipe that too.

I'm no where to be found! HAHAHA! I don't think I given any data to Google about my location except what they have already like my IP and such.
security?
nobody cares about your photos, and if they did, i'm sure they have a person that can punch you in the face and take the sd card

I don't like some ToS, for an example Google has dibs on anything you upload/say/etc. so they can access my photos if I upload them anytime. Same with Dropbox, Drive, SkyDrive, Minus (I believe). My sdcard is my own thing where I basically govern, and my external hard drives. I kinda like the cloud but with no mobile data, and somewhat spotty WiFi at school, the cloud doesn't seem the best for me. I still store photos onto private folders on Minus and SkyDrive but at times I really don't care. I would probably upload photos onto G+ into a private folder as you can store an unlimited amount, which is really good.

That's pretty much what I do.
That's pretty much what I do.
I should start doing that. Like now. But, then again there's their ToS, ah whatever, I don't really care.

If they really, REALLY, want to "own" pictures of stupid shit I take with my phone, then they can go ahead.
One question before I decide.
How open is the tf700? What's the ROM availability like and is the boot unlocked?
It had more of what I want, but when it quits getting new ROMs I want to be able to keep up with a good custom.
Talking of SD cards, I want this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sandisk-Ultra-Class-Micro-Adapter/dp/B007JTKLEK/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1351787535&sr=1-3

Worth It. I got one for $22 US and I'm excited to use it.
Hell you can get a 64gb one for like £40
When I get my SD card I'm going to put every episode of adventure time on it :v: and maybe the regular show, and then use an MHL cable so I can watch that shit on my TV
I got a 64GB one.
Chrome for Android just got updated. Is it me or does it feel quite a bit faster?
The 4.2 camera is amaaazzzziiing~<3

Google, what are you doing?
Google, stahp!
I can't actually want this device any more than I do now! :v:
Goddamnit, I'm drooling over Nexus 4 more and more...
I would never hear the end of it from my mother if I got a new one less than a year since my last investment though, which sucks major balls...
You could sell your current phone (S2, right? Would give you a decent amount of dosh still) and use that money towards the N4, should make the price significantly less of a problem and your mom wouldn't have to complain as much.
I might actually do that
I could probably sell mine for a third of the price of the N4 :v:

I don't think I would be able to sell it for a reasonable enough profit anymore, considering you can get it new and unlocked for around $500 (got mine when it was $600) and the N4 will probably cost over $900 when it releases here. Norway is too fucking expensive, can't wait until next year when I plan to move and study in England for university!
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
But I could always ask my half-brother in the states to buy the 16GB version of the N4 and ship it to me as a gift, which would only cost me about $440 (25% import tax of item's value if a gift is worth more than $175). That's if I'm really desperate and cannot go on without the idea of owning it though.
Man, google are dumb as fuck for making the Nexus 4 have a max capacity of 16GB. I have 13GB in music alone, how the hell am I supposed to cope with 3GB for everything else?
If they offered a 32GB option I would buy it in a heartbeat. Shame.
do you seriously have 13GB of music? how much of it do you actually listen to
how the hell am I supposed to cope with 3GB for everything else?
The N4 will likely have around 11-12GB free space, the rest is system and stuff, as usual in 16GB phones.
I'd be really fucking impressed if they'd manage to give you actual 16GB of free space.
