The Nexus 4 has worse benchmark results and performance than the Optimus G. 10/10 for optimisations there Google, would code again.
Careful Ezhik, you'll get a stroke.

Also Hexxeh released ChromiumOS for the N7.
N4 is still really amazing for it's price
Come with me to the magical land of Windows Phone!!! Also Hexxeh released ChromiumOS for the N7.
not released yet
The Nexus 4 has worse benchmark results and performance than the Optimus G. 10/10 for optimisations there Google, would code again.
Benchmarks don't have to mean shit for actual smoothness, and afaik the current benchmarks were still done on a pre-release OS version, so things might change a bit when the official update hits.
this is just bullshit

FYI: I usually don't care about benchmarks but that's pretty shocking.

I refuse to believe this! [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline]
Aww yeah, worked wonderful! Thank you so much.
Happy to help! Technically, from now on you should be able to normally update it via the Play Store. [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] REVIEWS, MOTHERFUCKERS! Nexus 4: http://www.theverge.com/2012/11/2/3589280/google-nexus-4-review http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/02/nexus-4-review/ http://www.wired.com/reviews/2012/11/google-nexus-4/all/ Nexus 10: http://www.theverge.com/2012/11/2/3589170/google-nexus-10-review

uh, the sample video is pretty.. bad. fuck.
ehh, not to be that guy or anything but multiuser support existed in Win98SE, which came out before Win2k
Proper multiuser support only existed in Win2k. You couldn't have personal files in Win98SE.
The Verge and even Andy Rubin himself have already cracked the Nexus 4 :v:
Proper multiuser support only existed in Win2k. You couldn't have personal files in Win98SE.
C:\Windows\Profiles\* ? i mean yeah other people could still poke them but I distinctly remember seeing different folders when logging in as different users in 98SE
C:\Windows\Profiles\* ? i mean yeah other people could still poke them but I distinctly remember seeing different folders when logging in as different users in 98SE
Yeah, I guess it was as good as it could get without NTFS.
Should I sell my Acer Iconia A500 and get a Google Nexus 7?
Another 'quality' review from The Verge. It's a good phone but there's no LTE so this is very very bad don't get it. He didn't even mention the storage or lack of!
What's the best webcomic viewing app for android? Is there one that has widget options for 7in tablets?
What's the best webcomic viewing app for android? Is there one that has widget options for 7in tablets?
Well there WAS one, but some of the webcomic creators threw a spergfit, and as such the service and app is now only a fading memory.
Well there WAS one, but some of the webcomic creators threw a spergfit, and as such the service and app is now only a fading memory.
and you can't get it to work with just the .apk?
I blame the SoC for the Nexus 10's performance. I'm going to be blunt, my iPad 3rd gen is not as smooth sometimes as I wish it was. Some intensive apps drop to Android level smoothness and it's irritating. Think of when you go to a horrible app on a Galaxy S III from the very smooth launcher. Now the reason for this is because Apple put 4x the pixels but only 2x the GPU power of the iPad 2. With their new 4th gen iPad it's the same ratio as they've again doubled GPU power. The Nexus 7 is very smooth in the UI, and so we could say that going from 1280x800 to 2560x1600 the chip in the Nexus 10 should be 4x faster than the Mobile GeForce chip. If that's not the case, that's why these issues are occurring.
and you can't get it to work with just the .apk?
Well I've found the name of it. It was DailyComix. And they had a server operating as a back-end for "scraping" webcomics, and adapting them for mobile viewing and browsing. BUT apparently the webcomic creators viewed that as stealing/piracy, even though many of them didn't offer a "mobile friendly" version of their site. It's a downright farce, since it COULD've bring them new readers, but they saw it as a threat instead of free publicity.
Just ordered a Nexus 7, I've used it a little, but never owned an android device, anything I should know/do straight away?
Anything?
Did the webcomic authors get ad money or anything?
most likely not, but their name was spread around.
