Anything?
Root it, uninstall bloat.
Bloat? On a Nexus 7? [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] also, is this is a joke?
Bloat? On a Nexus 7?
Well, unwanted stuff would be more correct.
Anything?
Get AirDroid, Algeo Calculator, ES File Explorer, Titanium Backup, Widgetsoid, Facepunch app by Geel, Evernote, Tasks Free, Angry Birds... EDIT: if you play guitar, get gStrings for tuning

Guys, any recommendation on good earbuds with a microphone? Since the Nexus 4 apparently doesn't have them and I'll be selling the whole Galaxy S2 package.
Anything?
How much have you done already? [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline]
Bloat? On a Nexus 7? I get the shivers when I watch them. This goes beyond fanboy and into mindless, cultlike devotion. [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline] Or rather, anti-devotion. He just hates android.
uh, the sample video is pretty.. bad. fuck.
Number 1: Image stabilization is on, turn that shit off and you get less jelly video. Number 2: Constant Auto-Focus, would be better if it was locked, not infinity because it's on a city street Number 3: Shaky usage, hence lot's of shutter roll (jelly video) I don't know why the sound is so bad but I guess it's better than mine.

But the Nexus 4 isn't $300 on contract either. In fact the Nexus 4 is probably one of the most fair unlocked price phones I have seen in a long time
Jesus christ Ehzik, calm down.
Benchmarks don't have to mean shit for actual smoothness, and afaik the current benchmarks were still done on a pre-release OS version, so things might change a bit when the official update hits.
Benchmarks are one thing, real world usage is another.
Benchmarks are one thing, real world usage is another.
Regardless, a Nexus device with given hardware should NEVER bench lower than another Android device with the same hardware.
Hey, the iPad benches higher than my Asus Vivo RT, but the Asus is much more fluid.
Regardless, a Nexus device with given hardware should NEVER bench lower than another Android device with the same hardware.
I have a feeling that might be because the other LG phone is using ICS and the Nexus JB.
I have a feeling that might be because the other LG phone is using ICS and the Nexus JB.
Uh then the Nexus should be benching higher. Look at benches for the Nexus 7 on JB vs other Tegra 3 tablets on ICS. [editline]2nd November 2012[/editline]
Hey, the iPad benches higher than my Asus Vivo RT, but the Asus is much more fluid.
That Asus must be quite the tablet to be more fluid than a device constantly at 60fps.
What are the differences between the S3 and the Nexus4 I can't decide if I should spend the extra and get the S3 because It's orgasmic, but the S4 has a better screen, (but no SD card boo)
What are the differences between the S3 and the Nexus4 I can't decide if I should spend the extra and get the S3 because It's orgasmic, but the S4 has a better screen, (but no SD card boo)
The Nexus 4 in theory is much better both with internal specs and with the screen. However the Nexus 4 is apparently not too durable and like you said has no SD slot. Benchmarks haven't painted a pretty picture either.
So when is the nexus 7 getting the 4.2 update

I know in videos and games it goes away but still..
So when is the nexus 7 getting the 4.2 update
When 4.2 is actually being released, which according to Google is "around the time of consumer availability of the new devices". Shouldn't be long now!
I can see 4.2 being the last update the Nexus S gets.

You know you want one. Look at it. It's gorgeous. It has every feature imaginable. Get it. This post is not endorsed by or affiliated with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. I'll buy 20 [editline]3rd November 2012[/editline] Nah, but I've decided I'll stick with my original decision to get an S3 then, the Nexus4 looks nice but the S3 is basically everything I want in a phone plus it feels sexy, and hell anything is a step up from this HTC desire Z, I might return it for a new one because it broke for no good reason, and sell it for some extra phone cash
Another photo sphere image from a mountain top. Can't wait for the Android G+ app to support them like the PC browser version.

HTC's dumpster babies. Appropriately named, because you will always Desire a phone that actually works.
Ah, the Desire line. HTC's dumpster babies. Compared to the i9100 every HTC device in 2011 might as well have been a dumpster baby, at least in 2010 they made money.
