It's funny because all touchscreens work with bananas since the current from your finger is transferred through it.

All capacitive touchscreens. Well, resistive ones would work too, but you'd have to press harder with the end of the banana and possibly risk smushing it.
Alright after my second factory reset it started working, sweet.

I have found from experience that I have to push my banana pretty hard.
i'd like to think that he means that android wouldn't exist in its current state without ios
but that would be giving that guy too much credit
Android was a blackberry competitor until the iPhone launched and they scrambled to make a competing touch OS. That's why the touch input isn't as good as WP7 and iOS. But to say Android in general wouldn't exist without iOS doesn't really make sense because it was in development before the iPhone.
Poor Note 10.1 buyers. I like their phones but I don't think Samsung is the company that represents the best of Android tablets, Nexus 10 included with their engineers failing to understand how the relationship between GPU performance and resolution means that tablet needs about 3-4x the power of that Mali T604.
I would think with how hot of a seller it is that the Nexus 7 would have put Asus as the leader for Android tablets.
The note 10.1 is still one of the very few good tablets that you can write on. The writing for me really is the added value, it's a fast tablet and it always runs the very latest CM. I am not complaining. And really, the colors on the screen make up for the low resolution. The low resolution is a downside, but the Note 10.1 has enough pros to be a winner for me.
And fuck the build quality, it's shit, but the leather case I have for it 'fixes' the shortcomings of the build quality of the tablet.
my phone however, is SHIT. LG, is SHIT. I am STILL running Gingerbread. And my phone is slower than a pooping turtle.
So I flashed my first zip ever and it worked out, now my video recording's audio is at 256kbps, up from a crappy 128kbps, now to wait for an update and get 10/14mbps video recording bit rate up from 6mbps.

Serious case of ambiguity in this post...

The colours on the Note 10.1 screen aren't that great. Samsung's PLS panels aren't known to be any better than typical IPS ones on Asus tablets that hover around 60% sRGB coverage.
I've always wanted to use a stylus and draw stuff on my phone, too bad a lot of stylus don't work or suck for captive screens...

This one from The Source works fine for me. $10 too. It's got a fat tip, though.
The thing is that those wont be pressure sensitive like the screen on the note. That's what makes it superior for drawing.
Yeah, true. I mostly just got the stylus so I could keep my gloves on in the winter.

Yes, that fat tip will work so well with my small phone!

Hint hint gary.
Yes, that fat tip will work so well with my small phone!
Actually, the active metal part of the tip isn't that fat. It just has a big rubber thing covering it to protect your screen. Go to the store and try it (they might have a demo one, or just ask them to open one of the packages).
Yeah I need a new phone, I'm still going to get a Nexus 4 when it comes out. Maybe get a friend to get it shipped or something.

If you can get it shipped to Toronto, I should get you to sell me one in May. And then I can maybe switch to Publi-wind-icity.

Im guessing shipping is free when you buy of the Play Store? I mean it probably takes some time to ship (maybe a few business days?) and I think everyone who got their Nexus 7's in Canada got free shipping...
Wow I remember when it just came out..
How would I go about backing up my entire phone? Like what's on the phone memory not the SD card, I'm sending it off to HTC finally so it can get refurbished (hopefuly)
When android first launched, my mom had one of the early windows-based HTC phones. Motherfucker was purple and had a stylus.
I was extremely jealous of my friends G1.
I think my friend still has a G1

nandroid?
Does that need root? Because I can't root my phone..
It needs to go back fully restored
So I got bored and did a Nandroid backup during class and a friend saw and thought I was hacking shit on my phone
:v:
Oh boy, all I need to do now is learn to use the Terminal and get it working.
Get what working? Terminal?
You don't even need root for it.
Get what working? Terminal?

You are supposed to, and I need to make Terminal do something flashy and interesting, or I can make a fake batch script and make it work as an Android app or something, I dunno I'm bored now.
I should probably try flashing ROMs or something
