Would ya look at that. Motorola released the Atrix HD developer edition, with a primary selling point being an unlocked bootloader.
Just unlock the RAZR already, pl0x.

Was that a sarcastic winner? If so, I'm hurt :(
Haha, motorola unlocking phones? I want the stuff you're taking :v:
I don't think you've noticed that no one really cares about this "issue".
Well it's fixed now.
the discussion? in this thread, its performance was questioned, wasnt it? or was that something else
and of course stores will sell the N4 but what i said was that the Google Play Store wont sell devices in sweden for a long time
try importing it? or get someone to buy it and send it to you?
that sucks though, my sister dropped her S2 in the sea and I felt physical pain
but thats a lot of hassle

You mean your fist physically hurt from the beating you gave her, right?
Haha, motorola unlocking phones? I want the stuff you're taking :v:
They've released unlock codes for literally every phone in the Razr and Maxx's generation, except for the razr and maxx!
Got a text from Rogers today saying that I can get the One Number app for tablets now. Which is nice, considering my phone sometimes forgets that it can make or receive calls. Now I have a backup!
EDIT: Dammit, there's an echo since it appears Asus put the microphone near the speaker. Unless I mute the tablet all the time, the other end hears a really bad echo.

no I mean a blood vessel in my brain burst from the sheer level of annoyance I felt

also this is why the N7/tablets are awesome
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/ZvUVkm.png[/t]
frequent use for days at a time without having to charge, it's fucking great
[editline]7th November 2012[/editline]
I'll probably buy the wireless charging station with the N4 just because I can put it on charge quickly and easily without having to hunt for a microusb cable; if you can't make the battery life great at least make it easy to charge eh
Whats a good browser for tablets? I've tried ICS Browser +, Dolphin Browser Beta, Firefox & Chrome I think. All been shit, Dolphins the worst cause it locks up like every 30 seconds or so and the rest just freeze up for about 10 secs when loading a new page

Try HoloWeb?
What tablet do you have?
While still on the topic of browsers, Chrome for Android is too slow for me, time to uninstall it and revert to stock. I'll give ICS Browser + a try and firefox too.
Before complaining about viruses please ask your antivirus company about it. They will tell you it is not a virus, it is an adware.
Oh! I see! That totally justifies AirPush and home screen ads!

Dolphin Mini or Opera Mini plz
ICS Browser + is basically the stock browser + some features that are useful.
I enjoyed using Dolphin Browser HD (even after they removed the HD from the name) but I like Chrome more, but it still lags.
Opera Mini can't show HTML5 scroll boxes.

Just some cheap one, it was fine when first had it, kept restarting a lot so reset to factory default and it just lags like fuck now lol, no idea why, feels like there is some invisible process lagging my device, it might just be the shitty browsers ive used though cause the lag only happens when i close them
and that holoweb looks sexy compared to most browsers ive used
The only problem I see with holoweb is the annoying full screen button in the bottom left. I want to remove it but can't. Nonetheless, the rest of the app is fine.
Do alarm sounds need to be a certain length or file format to work correctly? I'm trying to use a song as my alarm but the Clock app isn't showing it in the alarms list..
[editline]7th November 2012[/editline]
Fucks sake, JUST after I posted it works now.
i wound up having to go get Tone Picker just to use my ringtones as alarm tones
it "just ~worked~" in stock and I couldn't be fucked to move the file I wanted to an alarms folder.
I used Opera Mobile for ages and just recently it's rendering issues got on my tits so I ditched it.
Currently using the stock (Motorla) browser on my Atrix and it's not mega fast but everything renders right and it's smooth.
I never remember having rendering issues with Opera Mobile when I was using Android :s
Opera Mobile uses its own special back-end rendering on their servers, which messes things up sometimes.
i got the money for buying any phone, just saying
One X+, Nexus 4, Note 2, GS3 LTE, Optimus G.
Take your pick.
1080p screen with HTC's amazing battery reputation. Sounds like a winning combination.
To be fair, the One XL has iPhone 5 levels of battery life, as long as you don't have rogue apps or something dumb like that.

You mean half the time.
So apparently CM10 supports stylus gestures now? I guess that's for the Note or something. Not that it affects me, just something I noticed while looking at some CM commits.

It's pretty sexy looking.

Quick idiot question here, If I can install android programs from other sources than the marketplace, is there any major need to root my tablet?

It's good if you want to be able to manage system data, do backups (e.g. TitaniumBackup), etc.
augh
alright how do you set a boot sound in CM10
the only thing Google's coming up with is for CM7 and I don't think it will work with CM10 (plus you have to register to download that file, fuck that)
