My sister asked me to get her JB. I was almost in tears thinking I'd have to download GB, root, install cwm, install ics, then reroot etc Then I found out they already came up with a way to root + cwm in 4.0.4. Yessss.
That is what everyone recommends with the Galaxy S. I just did a full wipe while on GB and installed CM10 without an issue
Anybody have any experience with the Sony Xperia T, just upgraded my contact and thought they were really great and need some reviews from you guys before I receive it next week!

The poundland near where I live is selling Zagg Invisibleshields for a quid Only for the HTC desire HD, HTC chacha and HTC Desire (from what I saw) so I picked the HD one up for my GF for christmas V:v:V (aswell as her other presents, I'm no cheap bastard) [editline]8th November 2012[/editline] [T]http://i.imgur.com/vtIcd.jpg[/T] score.
James Bond has one, it must be good.
Yes, since James Bond has one it must mean it's automagically good. The phone looks good and there's a lot of advertising for it but the specifications are not that great as compared to high end phone such as the S3. It has a dual core and 1GB of ram, last gen high end specs.
Opera Mobile uses its own special back-end rendering on their servers, which messes things up sometimes.
I thought that was Opera Mini that did that, or unless you have the setting on Opera Mobile that makes it faster for slow connections (Opera Turbo?)
Thanks, I love mechanical keyboards [editline]8th November 2012[/editline] They feel so nice
So damn loud!
So damn loud!
That's half of the fun!
i forgot to wipe the minipro before flashing cm10 will it brick forever and explode in flames?
Evacuate everyone within 100 miles from the minipro.
Somebody tell gary, he'll be heartbroken
Probably gonna pick up a second hand HTC One S some time after Christmas (either then or after my birthday, I'll probably get a used 360 too). Thoughts?
So damn loud!
Thats the reason I use my Das Keyboard w/ Cherry MX blues at work for programming. Shit is amazing, also co-worker programs with an IBM Model M.

le Android Bundle 4 http://www.humblebundle.com/ I like how they're already using a Nexus 4 in the site graphics.
Anybody have any experience with the Sony Xperia T, just upgraded my contact and thought they were really great and need some reviews from you guys before I receive it next week!
The Xperia TL is basically the same thing except it can use the LTE network in the US, http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/11/03/xperia-tl-review-roundup/ Benchmarks if you care about that stuff http://blog.gsmarena.com/sony-xperia-t-gets-benchmarked-proves-its-a-worthy-flagship/ Feels nice to hold and is a nice looking device and despite what gary said about how its specs are last gen etc and not like the S3, it should be fine usability wise not like you need quad cores anyways. People on the XDA forums saying the battery life is good, people getting 10+ hours of usage. Downside is that the camera and screen isn't as good as the Xperia Ion, should be a nice phone overall if you don't have a bunch of carrier bloatware. Supposedly getting JB early 2013, Sony said its working on 4.2 on its AOSP device, Xperia S, that might even come out next year.
Shit the guy giving me the e63 can't find it But my other friend heard me complaining about my phone over skype and said he has a Huawei Tmobile Pulse mini that I can have Is there any quick way to unlock this? with hacky android methods? I just want to be able to go on fecking twitter so I don't get bored at college breaks :v:
That's half of the fun!
Well some people say typing on a mechanical keyboard is like sex. So I guess it's the equivalent of giving a screamer a violent orgasm :v:
So I took the battery out for a midterm today, and when I put it back in afterwards the phone refuses to start. Its currently acting like my battery doesn't exist. Plugged it into a wall outlet and its acting like the battery suddenly has no charge retention.
Do you have to pull the battery out? How do people with iPhones (or anything else with a nonremovable battery) do it?
Doesn't PyroCF have a One S or something? If he sees this can he share his thoughts on it for me, I wanted to get one second hand after Christmas.
I know my friend has a OneS and the short time I played with it, it felt really nice in the hands Not sure if it has any typical HTC long term problems, IE everything gets buggy
Do you have to pull the battery out? How do people with iPhones (or anything else with a nonremovable battery) do it?
You don't have to on an iPhone. I've never seen an iDevice crash, and if it did you could hold home and power which hard resets the device. As for Android phones that require it, no idea. The One S has such an awful screen that I'd never honestly recommend it to anyone. I just sell it to people because it brings in the money.
starting to having second thoughts again about getting the nexus 4 because of the lack of LTE
So apple just got a patent for what amounts to a rectangular device with rounded edges and a display.
Firefox is pretty fast and smooth with rendering but I like my Chrome more... Back to chrome.
So apple just got a patent for what amounts to a rectangular device with rounded edges and a display.
wich probably won't stand up in court.
