nah, sold it and got a lumia no more android, no more pain :v:
I hope it was the 920
I'm sorry for your loss.
Well he DID have to spend money in order to get it.
That's a strength for me. None of this '21 QUESTIONS: A FRIEND IS TALKING ABOUT YOU!" or "Joe Schmoe is inviting you to play Farmville!"
Yeah none of that like this or something bad will happen. No it won't, people who make, share and like that stuff is stupid.
Which phone is the best android phone available right now? I'm thinking about buying a note 2 but I would like to get the best phone possible seeing as I'm going to use it for 2 years.
Galaxy S3 LTE
Note 2 doesn't look bad either. The S Pen is really of added value, well it is at least on the note 10.1
Galaxy S3 LTE or the note 2 as you said.
Okay thank you, I will get the Note 2 then. Really glad I can get rid of my Desire HD.
Google+ also has great mobile apps unlike Facebook
The iOS app is a lot better now. They basically rewrote the entire thing. The only performance issues I've had don't occur on the iPad 2 so it's likely the display just having too many pixels for that SGX543MP4. And they supposedly are forcing their employees to suffer using the Android app to give them incentive to fix it.

I used to only use the site on my iPad because the app sucked, but now I use the app. Maybe it's not so great on the phones but it really takes advantage of the tablet form factor and everything runs well.

It has all the smooth transitions and stuff but it suffers from the same problems such as pictures randomly not working, and things opening slowly Still, the android one is far worse. [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] Facebooks stopped being used here mostly anyway as everybody switches to twitter, thankfully the twitter app is perfect.
That's a strength for me. None of this '21 QUESTIONS: A FRIEND IS TALKING ABOUT YOU!" or "Joe Schmoe is inviting you to play Farmville!"
Press the little arrow on the post, hide, hide all by X. There you go, no more shit.
5 bucks says it won't! [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] Also requesting a picture of hedgehog on a Lumia.
I tested it. It keeps my tabs. Send 5$ to ezhik@me.com please.
You could be lying!
Facebooks stopped being used here mostly anyway as everybody switches to twitter, thankfully the twitter app is perfect.
The official twitter app lacks in every department. I use Tweet Lanes.
What is Qualcom doing with the OMX il libs for ArmV6? I've heard they've commented on a petition page to open-source, and they've said that they are going to see what they can do about it.
Facebooks stopped being used here mostly anyway as everybody switches to twitter, thankfully the twitter app is perfect.
Perfect on phones. On tablets it's like most Android apps on tablets, garbage. In fact twitter's app looks so bad on tablets with all the white space that it's what Apple used to smack Android tablets during one of their iPad Keynotes. Luckily there's alternatives that do look nice on tablets.
Alright team, if all goes well I will be heading over to Costco today to pick up an SIII - they are selling it for $129, plus with a case and car charger free. Will be the first time I've ever gotten my hands on any device above gingerbread, so I'll keep you guys posted!
G+ is a closed API, so there wouldn't be third party versions of this which I'm guessing is good because the current application is pretty good and from recent news Google is saying that 2013 will be the year for G+. Most of the features are not there yet too.

It must be at least locked to a network.
What? No contract? just 129 dollars?
AFAIK it's a 2-year T-Mobile contract. Still a great deal, since T-Mobile usually charges $280 on contract.

Okay guys, i need help fast. My fathers Samsung Galaxy Ace broke down. Doesn't recognize touching anymore. The warranty is broken. It is on 2.2.1, stock rom. The developer mode/tools thing is turned on though, is it possible to get the contacts from it? Google sync wasn't on afaik, but maybe it is possible to turn it on or something?

If so it might be possible to backup the contacts, call history, text messages and calendar from it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=969650 One example of many, with a Google search using the following keywords: adb backup contacts text messages
why are people on XDA so obsessed with flashing the perfect radio img for each and every ROM
I would assume it has to do with them wanting the best battery life, signal strength and call quality that they can get
I just bought a One X.
Got one too, in my opinion an amazing phone.. but the one x+ was released like, a couple of days ago.. why didn't you go for that one ?
I would assume it has to do with them wanting the best battery life, signal strength and call quality that they can get
I can't exactly imagine the radio firmware being that..finicky. I just use the latest and I don't have any issues. :v:
