Is there a download of the default "loading" spinny graphic anywhere
What apps should I get now when I'm rooted?

AdAway
Titanium Backup
Titanium backup keeps saying "Asking for root rights", even when I've granted them..

Wired Tether is also really good
Oh and it keeps nagging about some interacting shell.

Place penis into door crack and then slam door to cauterise post together
In all seriousness, delete Titanium Backup access in Superuser and let it confirm again. If that doesn't work, reinstall Titanium Backup and repeat. If that doesn't work you can try installing SuperSU and repeat. If that doesn't work try installing an older version of Titanium Backup on the internet. If that doesn't work you should sure that root privileges are working on your phone because obviously they are not.

Things like these keep coming up, annoying as hell.

I'll try it.

Opening SuperSU says that it needs to update the binary, then it says it fails.

There are two causes to that. Either your current Superuser is broken or you do not have enough space on your system partition
Pretty sure I have alot of space.
What do I do if the superuser is broken?
I want a stock android rom with all the Note 2 goodies, why can't I have the best of both worlds .
My poor Nexus S :(
You do realise that there is always custom ROMs. Updating from 4.1.2 to 4.2 would be really easy for developers. The CM10 are already working on it.

I think you should be able to rip it from android by looking for it in some apks.
I'm considering going back to ICS. Jellybean is just slow and the RAM usage is hilarious.
I'm using CM10 on my i9000. Everything works really well so nothing of value was lost
WHAT THE FUCK
-If AOSP starts pointing toward Nexus 4, you are having a bad problem,
and you will not go to space today (i.e.: there is nothing in AOSP
related to Nexus 4)

I know I'm a few pages late, but it looks like there's just some licensing issues with SoC vendors and Google will get the N4 into AOSP ASAP, regardless of whether that happens to be after sales begin.

So really nothing to worry about.
I want to try MIUI on my Desire Z. Should I install it?

That's what I'm hoping. A Nexus without AOSP support would be a major failure for Google.
I want to try MIUI on my Desire Z. Should I install it?
MIUI is a really good rom, I ran the development builds and hardly had any bugs even with those. There's also tons of really great themes
Just how bad servers does the MIUI site have? I'm downloading the ROM at less than 8 kilobytes per second.
Looks like the next batch of N4 and N10 for sale in the Play Store here will be coming in 2-3 weeks time, while the US get it's next batch in 2 days, slightly unfair.
An hour later I come back to check the download.
24 megabytes downloaded out of 81 megabytes.

Fuck it.
Drove past a google street view car on my driving lesson!

Be glad it's just weeks, not months, like when the N7 launched.

Your face is turning into blurry mush in 5, 4, 3...

Yeah the N7 launch was botched here, people pre-ordered it and when it was available those early pre-orders were the last to be shipped, some even went missing. It only took 3 weeks to get the N7 back in stock on the Play Store though, but there were physical shops with it constantly.
Don't understand how Google can keep botching up hardware and software services over and over again.

add those to Nexus 4 not being in AOSP with no guarantee it's going to get to AOSP, Nexus devices sold out after single minutes, Nexus S and XOOM dying...
Go on Ezhik, say it, I'll allow it this time.

Early users being beta testers is pretty much a universally accepted fact.
However Nexus 4 not making it to AOSP is concerning - while it's obvious that Google is shifting the Nexus series from developer devices to actual consumer products, I was really hoping that they wouldn't do this.
Also I found the perfect saying to describe Android, "Jack of all trades, master of none"
