And since the Desire HD and Desire Z are quite similar kernel-wise, then I know where this'll lead.
I don't think that either of them have ever supported the Desire Z, though.
I don't think that either of them have ever supported the Desire Z, though.
They're actually quite similar, the first stable release of ICS for the Desire Z was actually a stable ICS release for the Desire HD tweaked for the specific differences between those 2 phones (screen size, physical keyboard, ect)
luv u 2 bebeh <3
I just realized your avatar is from Carmageddon. I feel stupid for how long it took me to notice.

But they're both all about completely open development so SOMEONE will do it.
I just realized your avatar is from Carmageddon. I feel stupid for how long it took me to notice.
wow
is that a bad wow :(
yes
I always seem to get phones that don't have the best dev support. At least I have ICS on my phone, but there isn't even a stable CM10 release for it yet. (HTC Vivid -- CM10 still has no mobile data and bad call quality)

Got my Nexus 7 32Gb last week, then woke up this morning to an update notification on my Nexus 7: Android 4.2. Sweeeet. Multi-users seems interesting, though not sure if I'm ever gonna use that. Essentially we have two home screens now? One before the lockscreen with some basic info (calender, clock, email) and one behind it? Not sure how practical that is, but at least it looks snazzy. I do like the fact that each side of the screen is a separate pull-down menu. Good bye power management widget! I'm still amazed at how much faster this thing is compared to my Iconia A500, despite it being half the price. I was looking for a device to watch movies on during my commute. My Nexus S was too small and slow. My Iconia was too big. The Nexus 7 fits perfectly in my jacket inner pocket and it runs everything beautifully. Seems to run 720p H264 encoded files perfectly, which saves me a lot of hassle transcoding everything. Now if only I could get Final Fantasy 7 to work...
Is this site trustable? http://www.merimobiles.com/Xiaomi_Mi_2_Dual_Core_4_3_inch_1_5GHz_with_Android_p/meri5722.htm It's so cheap!
The device is going to go for about 400 USD. It's cheap because Chinese companies don't follow the mainstream price gouging.

So apparently the SGS2/Note brick bug is fixed in JB leaks. Great work Samsung, it only took you half a year.
Something similar happened to me a few days ago. I uninstalled and app and my phone restarted. Insantly showed the CM boot logo, booted up, the app was gone and everything works normally. Instant flashback of my first (factory fucked up) S2 that kept restarting whenever it wanted. Needless to say I had trouble sleeping that day.
Ah, the first day with my phone it credit and rebooted twice...
Was it due to my app specifically?
Yes, this isn't the first time your app crashed my phone. A few pages back I was refreshing the Read Threads and bam, reboot. I'm pretty sure it's your app that's causing it.

With all of these back orders, I'm guessing I won't even see one at my local store/at all until Christmas...

I cringed so hard at that, Jesus Christ!
Perhaps some of you android experts can explain a potential source of my problems. I've had a samsung captivate for a few years now. Started running cm7 back in July and it worked great, but a week or so ago, battery life randomly dropped to like 4 hours of normal use, and it would crash 100% of the time when attempting to answer a call, and stutter/lag and become unresponsive when calling people. I upgraded to cm10 last night hoping it would fix all my problems. Battery life seems to have improved, but the calling issues remain. Any ideas what it could be? Perhaps I should've tried a non CM rom, but i figured the differences between cm7 and 10 would be substantial enough that it wouldnt matter.
okay what phone should i get? Agree for Note II Disagree for Galaxy S3
That's really down to you, they're both amazing phones but for different audiences.
just wanna know what fp thinks [editline]15th November 2012[/editline] the general idea
Your SIM card is probably only slightly inserted.
Or it's dying. Had the same problem until I got the old sim card replaced. it was from just before the SE w810i got released, so that kinda explains it.
