I know right, Damn it America we want stuff too n
Managed to get a £25 coupon from ASUS because they lowered the price of the Nexus 7. Pretty cool considering I got it the day it launched. :D
I've noticed it on stock 4.2 on my Nexus 7 twice today. It's pretty annoying.
shit I've got a nexus 7 and haven't noticed it; then again I am only running 4.1.2
Just curious, why haven't you updated to 4.2 yet?
Maybe because 4.2 was kinda rushed. There's bugs and stuff everywhere.
I'd do that Gmail ". is ignored in addresses" thing to exploit the NFC tag offer and send it to international people but I can't afford international shipping [editline]18th November 2012[/editline] or even just international mail
Here's the volume warning in stock Android 4.2 I haven't tried pressing cancel yet but I'd guess it returns the volume to the previous level. [editline]18th November 2012[/editline] I used the new Image Editing to crop that screenshot BTW. It works very well.
My phone is so heavy when I'm holding it sideways ion youtube t presses the volume keys in my hands and I deafen myself
My phone is so heavy when I'm holding it sideways ion youtube t presses the volume keys in my hands and I deafen myself
How on earth did you manage to do that? I've only accidentally pressed the volume buttons when I was making a DIY charging dock for my desire z
I have a ZTE ZTE 12 Telstra Uno phone, and half of the games are not supported, so I am looking for a tablet to play games on that I can't on my other phone, mainly emulators for car trips. The limit is 100 dollars and needs to be Australia located since I am Australian. I have been looking on ebay and I found this. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-1-Capa...t_10256wt_1163 65 bucks more, but I am not sure if that would work for this stuff.
I've had my Nexus 7 on 4.2 since Wednesday and my GNex on it since Friday, I have yet to see the volume warning on either. Also that birthday bug, if you were to type in "D" into the month, it would autofill in Dec, but hitting OK will still change it back to month it said before.
How on earth did you manage to do that? I've only accidentally pressed the volume buttons when I was making a DIY charging dock for my desire z
The buttons are easily pressed, and when it's sitting in my hand it put it's weight onto the button and suddenly I'm deaf

I'm sure they'd be going for ~$130-150 now. Above your price range? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

Although the used 8GB models are only getting cheaper and cheaper, so if one is willing to handle those workaround, one might be able to snatch one up for a great price.

Thinking about flashing Eclipse ICS. Do I need an unlocked bootloader? Because there's no code.
what's the deal with not being able to group message with iphone users? half the time i get the texts individually, and half the time i don't get them at all.
what's the deal with not being able to group message with iphone users? half the time i get the texts individually, and half the time i don't get them at all.
Apple & proprietary shit. Remember how they half assed made that adapter so you could charge iDevices via microUSB? yeah, same ordeal
Also, I'mma factory reset before I reroot to flash, will Titanium keep all my data and be able to recover it once I have Eclipse flashed?
what the hell is lg doing!! i want a goddamn nexus 4 and it ain't available in my country.. anyone got info/a place with info on this?
You mean what the hell is Google doing. LG's just the manufacturer.
what's the deal with not being able to group message with iphone users? half the time i get the texts individually, and half the time i don't get them at all.
Google fixed it in 4.2 thankfully
snip fuck it.
Hey my phones camera is 4mm while the GNexus is 3mm. Does this mean mine is better because my friend just sent me photos of a worksheet and God it looks bad. Checked iso and such too. The compression is about the same.
Well the GNexus has a pretty average to mediocre camera. So that really isn't a shocker. Of course it could mean your friend just really fucked up taking the photo, which isn't really hard to do in a low light situation (its very sensitive to movement).

If so you can always download another market or install apk files directly.
Hey guys, I still need that loading animation location. Although I figured out what the Google guidelines call it now - an "activity circle" (or maybe "indeterminate progress circle", one of those two).

AFAIK, you can open them as zip files. Locations: /system/app/SystemUI.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk [editline]19th November 2012[/editline] Could it be, your looking for one of these?
For my first tablet, would I be better off getting a Nexus 7 or Nexus 10?
Depends if you want a 7" or a 10" tablet.
Yes
I like to play games, watch movies, and maybe browse the internet or read books. I hear a 7" tablet is probably the best for my needs?
Well that entirely depends on which one you personally think has the most correct size.
