I like to play games, watch movies, and maybe browse the internet or read books. I hear a 7" tablet is probably the best for my needs?
Nexus 10 isn't going to run anything but the simplest games at its native res so it's not the best device for gamers.
You mean what the hell is Google doing. LG's just the manufacturer.
LG is also going to sell it in countries where Google doesn't sell devices directly.
And LG will fuck that up by making it overpriced as hell.

I still fail to see how that's LG's fault. Google is the one who has such a limited distribution footprint. If they were readily aware that they were incapable of servicing many countries, they should have teamed up with some company that specializes in worldwide shipments and distribution so that people from around the globe could buy their phone. LG is just taking advantage of Google's failure to do this correctly, and with how badly their mobile division's finances are, it's hard to blame them for wanting better profit margins than they're getting through Google Play.
Just curious, why haven't you updated to 4.2 yet?
I don't have wifi atm

I'd just import it myself then.
Rather have my money goes to a small company that helps people obtain goods from other countries at a fair price, than letting LG ream me from behind.

In some country's (mine) neither google nor lg sell the n4.
Yes because clearly Google only had 7 Nexus 4's for purchase.

I understand they want to make money off selling the N4 directly, but putting the price up higher than a Galaxy S3 (still rumors up to this point but I don't expect anything different from LG) won't help them at all. A really limited number of people will buy it from them directly, the rest will import, and their mobile division will continue to die a slow death.
On a side note, are games actually not supported or is that just Play Store bullshit like when you change your DPI? If so you can always download another market or install apk files directly.
I can download another market? What is a legit one. Also can someone help me find a cheap nexus 7 around 100 or under 200 in Australia? I want to play games, emulate games and watch movies in the car, but my Ipod can't do all and the screen is too small.
You can do emulation on the iPod if it's jailbroken, and the screen was never considered too small until people started making big phones...

I have trouble seeing with my eye, I have lazy eye, so everything on small screens are small to see.
I want to change the DPI for specific apps. What do?

So I just bought screen protectors off ebay and I got 5 for a dollar, what a deal! Way better than buying one for $5. It's from Hong Kong and it will arrive in like 2 weeks.
why not just buy one that wont wear in a week
I wish I could get a Stienheil protector, my Sprint one is just euuugh.
There's a rainbow pixel effect on it and it feels awfully rough when I put my fingertip on it.

I hope you're not talking about that film that comes on the phone when you buy it. If you are you should probably kill yourself.
are there any android apps (preferably ones which work well on a tablet) which can open & edit PSDs?
/system/framework/framework-res.apk

Google fixed it in 4.2 thankfully
so wait should i be able to group text with my GS2 skyrocket?
Why is the people thing so weird? I have to create a new entry to put a phone number with someone's facebook? And why are all the pictures low res? Is there a good replacement to this that makes things easier, as well as makes the pictures not so low res and actually syncs with facebook?

Uhhhhhhhh
Yeah, I'm using the protective film that you are supposed to remove. There's even that red flap to remove it on it.
Been using it for like 3 months now.
Edit: it has scratches all over it and such. Hence the reason why to get a new one (or 5).
Snip:
Definitely not the thread to complain about public nudity.

haxsync, it does google+ and facebook high res sync.
are there any android apps (preferably ones which work well on a tablet) which can open & edit PSDs?
Probably not because it's Adobe's file format and it has patents and copyrights and such so if Adobe doesn't have an editor or has that feature, I don't think any other app does.

...No?
The protective film had texting while driving warning messages on it, so of course it took it off.

Contacts that aren't from Google or your phone are read only (presumably so your changes don't get lost next sync). You can join a bunch of contacts together and make them show up as one contact if you like.

They're all low-res because the official app is terrible for anything other than posting your status and reading your news feed.
Friendcaster appears to support high-res contact photos (though you have to turn it on in settings)
I feel the need to fuck with something. 3rd party system apps I should download?
