That would have been an instant buy for me.

Even better: Nexus 4 except actually good.
BUUUT that'll get Google's panties in a bunch.
I actually like Kaabii's opinions and criticism, especially because it seems like he does know what he's talking about.
But to be honest, I thought the screen of the Nexus 4 was very close to the One X (at least that was mentioned in some reviews).
Pretty much any review not by Anandtech or Displaymate for displays will be completely useless. Those same reviewers are the people who give Samsung points for their displays, when in reality they're a huge downside.
I'd still take the Nexus 4 over any Sony device I've seen. Software support.
Also it's much cheaper and the specs are not last-gen shit.

Why does everyone think I'm a girl?!
My Nexus 7's coming in some time today. What ROM should I flash on it? ParanoidAndroid looks like it'd work best since the N7 acts like a phone for some reason, but I don't know much about other ROMs.

If I go full stalker (I love going full stalker) and search your Steam username from your profile (which is by the way linking to a nonexistant Steam page), pretty much all the results for Brandy815 on Google end up in "Brandy Reimer" which indeed is a woman, AND from Canada.
But upon further searching [that's if I actually put 1% of effort in the searching] I find out that this woman works at "Value Village" which quickly invalidates the previous hints that you could be female.
Why does everyone think I'm a girl?!
um what did you say your name was.. I think it was a girl name (no offense)
edit: oh yeah Brandy

You mentioned you had a boyfriend a few posts back, I think that's why.
(don't expect gary to figure this out for another year or two, he needs to grow a bit more to make sense of these kind of topics.)
Question, how annoying is it to put CM10/whatever stock rom on a AT&T One X?
My dad has one and for some reason sense tries to connect to unsecured networks so it turns off the cellular radio.

why not keep stock?
I was thinking the same thing. It has a tilty homescreen, plus the notifications and time would get squished if you did 10inch ui

Oh hawr hawr hawr, I'm more mature than you think.
Here's how I thought of it.
Kaabii's previous username on FacePunch was garrynohome, the name garry is male. After doing some quick searching on his page, I get to his twitter, with a real life image of them (one male, one female, assuming they are dating/married/together in some way). Now earlier he said something about his boyfriend and phone contracts, which made me believe that garrynohome was either a girl or a homosexual and that the image on his twitter was old/inaccurate.
Realistically we all believe everyone on the Internet is a guy unless otherwise specified.
And after I enhanced the image, I was able to get the GPS coordinates of the image and I verified it by rotating the image, zooming a bit, did some more enhancing and found out your location: Ontario, Canada.
For me, its not so much there durability of Samsung's stuff, its the feel.
I have to agree with this. I upgraded to the S3 over this thanksgiving and upon taking the phone out,
it felt like a slippery cheap toy. It does not feel secure in your hands; whatsoever. You CANNOT go around using this phone without some type of grippy cover.
It still rocks though!

Well my legal name is Brandon but I go by Brandy, it's the nickname my boyfriend gave me.

We don't know, we probably BS'd everything. At least we know you are running Windows 7 and you're using Google Chrome as your browser!

Unless he has a custom useragent. Like this.
Hint: I don't own a single Apple device.

So you are a boy and you have a boyfriend, okay.

the smiley looks like "I'll pretend I understand this" in that context :v:
Well, case closed. Pack up and go home boys. But you should probably stick to Brandon on the internet. It's a confusing place.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. Tune in at six to find out whether any Android phone has a screen that displays colours properly, and whether the Nexus 4 is horrible. And at nine we have an interview with a man named Gary Chen cool, where we find out just how deep his feelings are for his mini pro, and why he'll never ever leave it, even though it continually betrays him.

of course I understand
So with the Nexus 4 LTE working, I have to wonder if the FCC is going to make life hell for Google's management. Releasing a phone with a working LTE chip and saying it couldn't in your filings? Ooops.

It doesn't really work in the US though, does it? I mean I guess it still theoretically could.

Carriers have the spectrum, it's just not deployed in many areas. I'm pretty sure either AT&T or Verizon has Band IV in use in Chicago, and that one works with the Nexus 4. It'll be used more in the future. If Google didn't note that it worked in its FCC filings, they're fucked.
How fucked? Are we talking about fines that they can easily absorb, or really really fucked?
How fucked? Are we talking about fines that they can easily absorb, or really really fucked?
It's just a device specification, it's not like the FCC will shut down Google.
