How can I change it?
Aueuuehashdahsdwdh My S3 arrived for christmas from ebay (yep, it was a legit unlocked S3 for £330) I had to turn it on and play with it for a minute, and check for dead pixels and defects, before putting it back in the box for 27 more days
Torture.
Surely that level of torture is against some international law. Especially if YOU have to check YOUR OWN gift for defects and then put it away again. wtf?
Dad was out, mum knows nothing about phones, I just wanted to know if it had dead pixels for christmas day or something, because that would be a massive buzzkill, but nope, it all checked out [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] I had to grab my desire Z immediately after to call dad about, it felt so lumpy and ugly :suicide:
Installed clean Android on my One X. It's beautiful.
do you have random reboots issue

Also Jellybean touchwiz is fucking FAST I booted up in about 20 seconds and was fully usable, my desire Z takes 3 minutes and can't be used for another minute :v:
Alright, just had to flash CWM on via fastboot and it's working fine now. Installing the ChaCha/Status mod of CM9 now. Should be good to go after a whole evenings worth of arse-ing about :v:

I didn't know there was a difference either. I haven't Googled the difference yet. Edit: I have now!
wireless standards The sets of technology and speed requirements that makes the difference between two generations. 3G and 4G answer to different sets of mobile standards. 2G / 3G / 4G These are successive generations of cellular wireless technology. G stands for generation. 4G Any network that satisfies the fourth generation of wireless standards is known as 4G. 3G standards The set of requirements for 3G networks. 3G should be capable of roughly 2MB per second. 4G standards The next generation of wireless networks technically must comply with 4G standards to call itself 4G. That means a 4G network should be capable of speeds of up to 1GB/second in ideal situations of low mobility (i.e., sitting at a desk) or 100MB per second for mobile use. 4G modem A 4G modem is a mobile internet hub, letting devices like tablets and laptops connect wirelessly to a 4G network. LTE Long Term Evolution, commonly known as LTE, is another flavor of 4G. Verizon is launching its LTE network next week, and AT&T will look to employ this same kind of technology for its own 4G network. Like WiMAX, LTE doesn't currently meet the 4G standards, but likely will in time. HSPA+ Commonly regarded as a 3G network can rival but not match the speeds of its competitors' 4G networks. My parents got a iPad which i always use and lately my parents are using it a lot again so i figured that i just buy myself my own tablet, iPad 3 is to expansive for me at the moment so i wanted to go for the Nexus 10. I have to do some hassle to get it since its not available in Holland so i gotta pick it up in Germany so is it worth the trouble for the Nexus 10 compared to the other tablets?

It shouldn't be that much more if you can even find one, since the new 4th gen is $499, although I know nothing of how much it may be priced in Holland. LTE is not capable of the standards of 1gbit/s that they laid out literally a few lines above. I guess they mean LTE is the predecessor to LTE-Advanced but it's still wrong, they're not just magically making LTE upgraded to it, or it wouldn't have a whole new name for when they do.

I could work for a month or 2 longer to get a iPad but i never had a Android device before so might as well go for a Android.

There were two retina ones, the third and fourth gen. You'd have to look at the connector to be sure. Honestly my personal recommendation is if you want to experience Android, buy a phone, not a tablet. It should be noted the Nexus 10 will only run 3D games at 1280x800, and the UI will never run at 60fps no matter how optimized the OS running on it is. Definitely a hardware issue there with the Mali-T604. But that display will be big and beautiful, and it'll get all the updates Google can throw out in a timely fashion, unlike many other tablets.
Apps on the Nexus 10 aint gonna be fun. They're fine on the Nexus 7 though.
Apps on the Nexus 10 aint gonna be fun. At least you're scaling apps meant for portrait orientation, instead of just stretching them sideways a ridiculous amount to fill a landscape screen.

And i thought the Nexus would be a good option for that since it has a big screen and is quite powerful. I also already own a iPhone 5 so i already got a phone.
I'm thinking about getting a Nexus 10. Not for apps (mostly), but because I want a device to throw media on, like TV shows, and watch away from my computer. Maybe school textbooks too. Should I grab a 7 or a 10 for stuff like that? Also, sorta worried about the 7's screen lifting issue which is why I'm considering the 10 at all.

I decided to be smart, and put the phone on charge (It's behind me, the temptation to play with it is ridiculous) so that on xmas day when I wake up, it'll be full charged and I won't need to keep a cable plugged in all day go me [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] Also I made the terrible mistake of first turning it on wearing cotton gloves, it slipped out of my hand like a bar of soap and flew across the room like a torpedo, landed on my bed luckily
your parents are strange

If an S3 already handles like that, you'd launch the Nexus 4 right off to Mars in cotton gloves.
I always assumed H was 4G and H+ was LTE i may or may not be wrong
H = HSPA H+ = HSPA+ (twice as fast) L, LTE = LTE which is currently the fastest of the fast which is also not true 4G. It's a marketing thing where the larger number means faster and better to consumers which of course is not always true.
Well actually early HSPA networks were 3.6Mbit/s, then 7.2, then 14.4. Then after that it's 21.1 designated as HSPA+ and anything above that is HSPA+ as well assuming it's a UMTS network. [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] Also LTE-Advanced, Moscow. That's fastest of the fast. Yota has it running ~300Mbit/s but it'll get up to 1Gbit eventually.

[editline]28th November 2012[/editline] With my provider.
Your provider is very mean, they should stop that.
I have H+ literally everywhere as well :(
As in carriers are assholes throttling your connection.
