Of course, three years from now, non-Nexus phones will finally get 4.2.0, and never see 4.2.1.

i dont care about shitty gameloft knockoffs unless theyre like actually good
Hey Kaabii, I was hoping you could help me with something. I'm trying to figure out what my cancellation fee would be with Fido, according to this article. When I initially signed up for my two year contract, I had bought the LG NEON 2. This phone costs $125 retail, and I got it for $0, so my Device Savings Recovery Fee would initially be $125. I did not sign up for data as part of that contract (I only signed up for data much later), since it wasn't even a smartphone. That means I shouldn't have any ADSRF. There is also a Service Deactivation Fee of $12.50, and taxes. If I had a two year contract, the $125 would decrease 1/24 ($5.21) every month, right? I have either five or six months left on my contract (not sure exactly how they calculate months). I'll assume six months. That means I have a DSRF now of only $31.26. ($31.26 + $12.50) * 1.13 = $49.45. Does that sound right? The Wireless Wave people gave me a much higher number, but yet didn't even check my account so they have no fucking clue.
Try giving these games a go, they aren't fps though but they are fun:
- Apparatus
- Drag Racing
- Hill Climb Racing
- Mayhem
- Nethack
- Osmos
- Plague Inc
My personal favorites (no particular order):
Super Falling Fred
Running Fred
Bad Piggies
Dead Trigger
Jetpack Joyride
Plague Inc

Radiant defence is my all time favourite game.

If you signed up before the change to Roger's policies, then the old ETF terms apply to you. Call Rogers customer service, they can tell you exactly what it would be.
Mine:
-Jet Set Radio
-DEAD TRIGGER
-Mega Jump
-SHADOWGUN
-Deer Hunter Reloaded
-Carnivores HD
-Nanosuar 2

Okay, thanks. I was hoping to avoid call centres because I hate them.
EDIT: Damn, the old terms suck.
The ECF is the greater of (i) $100 or (ii) $10 per month remaining in the Fido Agreement, to a maximum of $300 (plus applicable taxes), and applies for each deactivated phone number.
Erm edited. Meant to say if you did sign up before, old applies to you.

Yeah, I somehow understood what you meant anyway. That means my fee is probably $100.
is there a way to record the screen?

You can use an app called Screencast to record directly on your device as if you would to do so on your computer, recording whatever was on the screen on the computer.

This is the 2nd time I've had Ghost Armor on my phone where it's had a little hair under it. Arrrrrgh
Plague, Inc. is about the only mobile game I've played for more than an hour outside of emulators and that one Phoenix Wright port to iOS.
[editline]1st December 2012[/editline]
Oh, and Chinatown Wars on iOS.
Oh my god... Fuck...
I've just lost my Galaxy Tablet. :(
I've told Google Play to download Pray to it the next time it connects but now I don't know if I'll ever see it again (Edit: forgot you need to give Pray your login and password before it tracks. GODDAMNIT.) The only hope I have is that nobody on that bus was assholeish enough to steal it out of the back seat, and instead give it to the bus driver so it can be reported to DART Lost and Found on Monday but even then I don't know how to get there from my route (534).

This excites me...

what are the pros/cons of the samsung galaxy S3 and should I buy one? I have never had a smartphone before
Galaxy S3 compared to what?
Galaxy S3 compared to what?
compared to htc, LG, or windows phone I guess. windows phone looks boring and I want to root my galaxy S3 (if I were to buy one) to have android 4.2.2
is the supposedly cheap plastic backing really that bad? and what are the pros/cons of the samsung galaxy S3 in general?
The screen gets burn in apparently
I am now scared of my screen getting burn in, why do I keep watching review videos :suicide:
and from what I've felt the S3 feels really really solid to hold, and you're getting a great camera too
Is there any word on a Sony phone in the nexus series? Other than the fake one..
Nothing official, no. And even if there was a sony nexus in the making, you wouldn't find out about it until the summer or so.

Yup, all AMOLED screens get burn in. My S2 has it in place of the status bar so when I flip the phone sideways, I can see it, but the visibility really depends on brightness and what color is displayed at the moment. Seems to show up most on purple.
Became noticable after about 8-9 months of having the phone. Doesn't seem to be getting worse, though.

Wait up there sonny, the Nexus 4 is still literally flying off the shelves.

Hmm. Which one to choose then? LG Nexus 4 or Xperia V. I really like Sony phones, but I want to up to date with the latest and greatest android without custom UIs.

I was thinking about this yesterday, is there a way to make it so the status bar is hidden all the time and can be shown by dragging down or tapping (like in windows phone) then pulled down again to drop it all the way down
that would help burn in surely?
