It also bothers me when tabs reload, but apparently it's also done sometimes just because fuck you, and the browser refreshes anyways just in case something changes.
Probably because now HTC is busy encrypting RUUs, which is just why.jpg.
The update will roll out whenever it does, it's just a matter of time by now.

This is so dumb, the One X and One X+ are as different as the Sensation and Sensation XE.
Don't know if you were saying I was dumb, or HTC were dumb, but I was talking about HTC's talent of making a flagship phone then forgetting about it as soon as they make another
Also, WP8's keyboard fills me with rage because almost 90% of the time it refuses to do autocorrect on the fly and so shit like "i" NEVER gets corrected to I unless it feels like it, and then works that are obviously wrong and would be perfectly fine with SwiftKey just stay uncorrected in WP8. I've spent so much fucking time correcting typos that the keyboard just annoys me. The lack of a single notification center, the lack of tons of apps that I would use (where the fuck is battery stats) and a general lack of fine-tuned control like an utter lack of the ability to turn off GPS without completely turning off geolocation and the fact that I can't tap to expose or focus without also taking a photo, along with the lack of a software shutter button means that 90% of the time I either misframed my shot or the shutter button took so much pressure to fully depress that I shook too much and make a blurry photo.
WP8 needs so much work it's unbelievable, and really, if it weren't for the fact that the hardware was a huge jump over my Desire HD I would be switching right back. I love WP8 in concept but execution is lacking so much polish it's sad.
I don't want to get a Samsung next year, and I really hope that HTC or Sony pushes out an Android device on ATT that really hits all the right spots for me to be my next device (32 GB or more internal or at least 16+microSD, unlocked bootloader, Krait v3, 1080p display, 5-6 hours screen on time+1 day standby of web browsing/app browsing with lower autobrightness settings and LTE.
is the nexus 7 good for reading books?

Should have got a 920! That has a focus button, well, a two stage camera button. Also I find the autocorrection and prediction a lot better than swiftkey.
You know what else has a two-stage camera button? A camera!

Well done! Your point being?

My desire Z has one too.
Slightly wonky to use though.

Other alternatives that Nokia's offerings?
Well done! Your point being?
My point is that you shouldn't decide what phone to get based on camera features. He wants an Android anyway. Everybody who actually takes pictures should probably get a standalone camera anyway; even a $120 one is better than a phone.

I would prefer a camera for serious pictures.
For "lel look at this guys window guys so funneh" I'll just pull out my phone and take the picture then share it on Seesmic or something right there.
Just downloaded SwipePad.
Looks great for multitasking.
Will report back later.

That's true, but then a camera button probably isn't going to factor into your decision of phone too much. Especially if you're still leaning toward Android like Hunter is.

I know in CM10 (and I think in AOSP) you can set the power button to be a shutter button when the camera app is up
of course if he's using stock for his phone the manufacturer might not be using the AOSP camera so take that how you will

Yeah, stock Sense doesn't have that, but now I remember that you can download "ICS Camera" from Google Play, which does have that. I used to have that on my old phone because it works on Froyo and Gingerbread too.

Eh, would just be single stage. I love pressing halfway on the camera button positioned for my right finger to focus the camera on my Samsung Focus.
A tad?
He went fully retarded and drove it off a cliff.
nope still not sucking android's dick
sorry
My tabs break all the time, I've seen tabs breaking on a bunch of devices and apps.
Hey are you on an IRC channel as you read news? Why don't I refresh that tab and mess up your IRC chats!
Got my Nexus 7 about two days ago. I'm in love with it. The only flaws I can find with it are the lack of the power notification LED, and how poorly Gameloft games run. However, the latter isn't really the Nexus 7's fault as it is Gameloft's.
Not really. They have to work around Android's slowness when porting from iOS, and they have to do what they can with the hardware. They could just cripple the image quality if you want it to run better.

To me, yes. Too many non-existant camera buttons, I wanna press it to activate the camera anytime!
Camera Button Masterrace
So it looks like the Canadian S3 just got 4.1.
Are you serious dude?
Are you serious dude?
Yup! Now it's just behind 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.2 and 4.2.1.
AND I'M STILL ON GINGERBEAD
It also bothers me when tabs reload, but apparently it's also done sometimes just because fuck you, and the browser refreshes anyways just in case something changes.
I never got what the big deal was anyways. Your tabs reload sometimes. So what? A whopping .05 seconds later and you have your page again.
AND I'M STILL ON GINGERBEAD
I was still on 2.1 until March this year.
Galaxy Nexus you are my savior.
Yup! Now it's just behind 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.2 and 4.2.1.
I can't update to it i keep getting this error on my phone, access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. try later. (this pops up on my phone).

uh no, it takes a bunch of seconds!
that's a lotta time
when ezhik first started talking about his tabs being KILLED, I thought he meant they were actually being closed, thus completely losing the URLs he was on
reloading is not nearly as big a deal, and if it didn't happen, you'd all complain that much more about how slow Android is because it would never release memory
My Nexus 4 has some how travelled a few metres whilst I've been out of my room for an hour. What is this sorcery?!?

My old phone kept bouncing between Chicago and Sioux Falls, SD for 4 hours one morning every 3 minutes. Because of that, I've gone 105,000 miles according to my Google Location dashboard.
To do a fair review I'm going to use the Nexus 4 as my main phone for the next week, that way I can comment on true battery life etc etc!
