Anyone with a att onex seen this problem/fix? so as soon as it leaves the wifi network it's supposed to be connected to, it chokes and dies when trying to use the cellular data. basically it doesn't disconnect from the wifi network, so it keeps trying to use a network that can't be used. [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline] also, will rooting/unlocking bootloader/CWR delete any data? I might just do that

god att theres like 4 hoops to jump through to flash cm10 on a onex then that isn't even the fix for the wifi issue onex terrible phone of the year all years
Does anyone know when the jellybean update should be available in Ontario? Samsung Kies would not work at all for me so i wanna know when i get it via my phone.
Just so you know, Mobilicity and Wind versions aren't getting it yet so if you fall under those, no update for you.
Wow, my carrier and Google got together, can now charge Play Store purchases to my phone bill instead of credit card, even has a number of half price apps for us.
Fellow N4 owners, what's your battery life like? Here's mine with absolutely everything turned on and enabled, Google Now, Google Play services, location reporting, no data schedule or any attempt to increase battery life. What do you guys think about the Droid Razr HD? EDIT: Ugh, it's the non-MAXX version and the battery is non-replaceable. It looks so good apart from that.
I've never had google services show up on my battery thingy, what's up with that.
I've never had google services show up on my battery thingy, what's up with that.
Maybe it's a 4.2 thing?
Should have got a 920! That has a focus button, well, a two stage camera button. Also I find the autocorrection and prediction a lot better than swiftkey.
The 8X also has a two stage camera button, it's just a pain in the ass because it doesn't let me choose exactly what to focus on and blurry shots are pretty easy to make without proper technique(steady pressure, do not release the button until after you are ready to take another shot). I think the autocorrect and prediction seems pretty good, up until the point that I'm typing so fast that the keyboard just goes NOPE and decides to stop fucking correcting at all. The wifi issue is all software and is either Android native or some odd bug because I haven't heard most any ROM getting it. The One XL is a good phone, it certainly was better than the GS3 in a lot of ways.
Wow, my carrier and Google got together, can now charge Play Store purchases to my phone bill instead of credit card, even has a number of half price apps for us.
as long as that remains optional then nice work
http://www.androidcentral.com/jelly-bean-now-67-android-devices Heh don't get your hopes up. 6.7%. Oh and only 0.8% of that is 4.2/4.2.1. So 99.2% of Android users run an old version.
I heard 4.2 had some issues anyway and I don't just mean the December thing
So apparently we can expect a 30% increase in performance for Krait v3, MSM8960T will basically have the same IPC as A6's Swift but with 1.7 GHz clocks and built in baseband (MDM9x15). Toss in Adreno 320 (which is really good in FPS tests, which are basically the only things worth a damn) and it will definitely be on par with Exynos 5250 while delivering better integration with the baseband.

The end.
And nothing mattered because Android's performance issues are software problems that shouldn't just be minimized by hardware speed increases.
And nothing mattered but hey, Snapdragon is the platform SoC for WPx, and all this performance will make for cool beans.
That is very true, since we haven't seen any S4 Pro chips in Windows Phones. Probably because Nokia's engineers didn't just throw a product together without checking if it ran cool enough to be of any use. [editline]4th December 2012[/editline] Happy 2000th post in advance.
as long as that remains optional then nice work
Also, I didn't have to do anything, it just appeared by itself, CM10 GS2.
Ugh, Fido really really dropped the ball. They offer a RAZR HD (not MAXX) to certain customers if they renew early, on a 3-year contract that requires a "max" plan. It seems like a good offer at first, but then you realize that if you want a "max" plan with call display/voicemail, you have to pay a minimum of $67/mo. This is actually more than Bell! Bell lets you pay $60/mo for the same amount of data (500 MB) and basic call display/voicemail on a 3-year contract. Fido has a $57 unlimited voice, 2GB data, call display/voicemail plan, but it's a smart plan, not a max plan, so it only qualifies you for the 2-year contract phones, which are all obsolete except for the One S, but I hate that phone for other reasons. Bell is looking better every single day. EDIT: Oh, even Bell's website is miles ahead in user friendliness. To even find the call display add-on on Fido's site is impossible unless you already know where to look, and Bell has an amazing cart system that itemizes everything.
I did it! I got my Nexus 4. I don't have service, but it will come soon. It's almost time to put down Droid 2, I'll miss 'im.

[editline]4th December 2012[/editline] Happy 2000th post in advance.
FYI apparently the thermal throttling is not supposed to happen, Qualcomm apparently is trying to get down to the bottom of the issue, which is probably overly aggressive governor trying to underclock the device far too soon. Even with the aggressive governor, there are no reports of FPS drops while playing games.
Ezhik himself. I've unlocked an achievement. Applied a screen protector properly on my phone without failure. Yay. The screen protector is pretty smooth and covers almost everywhere but the camera section. Close enough. I'm going to see how long this one lasts.

But yeah the phone's screen looked like it was brand new.

Yes Bells website is so much better than Fido. The current promotion with $57 isn't too bad. In other news, my friend with the Galaxy Nexus with Moblicity actually only used 1GB on mobile data and he always use mobile data. (I would use like 10)
Just so you know, Mobilicity and Wind versions aren't getting it yet so if you fall under those, no update for you.
i am with Bell.
Can't decide if I want a Nexus 7 or Nexus 10. I have a Nook Tablet currently and would rather have a 10 for the form factor. But at the same time I'm wanting to hold out to see if Google drops the price on the 32GB Nexus 10 and drops the 16GB like they did to the 8GB Nexus 7. Anybody think a 64GB Nexus 10 is likely?
My god screen protectors are a pain in the ass to install, like holy shit. How did you manage to get the bubbles out?
Magic. When I applied it no bubbles were on. When I started to apply it I used a card to flaten it and stop bubbles from forming in the first place. Then said some wizardry things to it.
