I could flash it to get it, but it would probably be slow and it takes up 30MB :(

It's pretty nice but not worth the battery drain.

I didn't know it drained battery? What phone?
This girl in my class was sitting there blankly with her S3 on the table asking people the number for Natwest (her bank) so I told her to use google now and it began calling it instantly and she was amazed, and now I keep seeing her asking her phone random things :v:

You might as well try it, it's really really cool, way more useful than Siri
I have dropped my phone a total of one time. Shattered front glass. Fuck.
Freakin Samsung Kies giving me errors when trying to update to Jelly Bean.
Also does anyone know of an app similar to facetime for android?
Skype does face chat.
Google+ hangouts, it's skype with free group video.
Anything else? I don't want a google+, plus, I highly doubt the people I would video chat with has a google+ either.

Also I really hate samsung kies, it should let me update my phone but nope.

since you need a google account to use a android phone
(wait, you are forced to make a g+ now with your google account)
also lots of people are starting to use gmail now and you can video chat them
I've been looking for a Pogo Pin dock for my Galaxy Nexus. I've found a couple on ebay, and one is going for $61 currently (and it looks like it'll be rising soon). I think it'll be worth it.

Skype on both WP8 and Android is a pile of shit, I swear to god it's like 4000 lines of spaghetti code.

TANGO!
Best I've tried, considering Verizon won't support Skype (for some reason?)
Skype seriously has major battery issues on almost every platform it's deployed on, I have no fucking clue why. IM is not difficult, just use push to send a wake-up call to pull messages/whatever, and then tombstone when not actively doing anything. Skype manages to constantly be syncing or some other crap that keeps modems awake and CPUs running.

It's shit in iOS too

The new android tablet interface is beautiful
Today, I saw a guy holding his galaxy S3 in one hand
over a banister
on the third story
3 floors directly above a stone tile floor
I cringed and gurned as I walked past him, I probably looked like a right idiot but sheesh
Not all people have a lubricated butterfinger baby grip like you. I for one hold my phone like a robogorilla
I barely ever drop my phone. Even though it's utter shit.
I hope the 32gb Nexus 10 comes back in stock by Christmas
Why is it taking them so damn long
It's shit in iOS too
At least it's a service on iOS, on android you have to keep the app running at all times..

Does it run in the background? Doesn't on WP7 which is why it's useless.
Fuck LG, that's what I think.
Why do you hate LG? They probably made all your displays!

I'm pretty sure it does.
What calendar app do you guys use now? I'm using DigiCal and it's pretty good but a bunch of bugs here and there.

Google calendar, with simple calendar widget and holo skin.

I'll probably switch to Google Calendar some day now that it's on Play, but right now I'm using the Sense calendar. It just works.

LG's flagship device of 2011, the LG optimus 3D, which I have, is still running Gingerbread. And not even 2.3.7, just 2.3.5.
They haven't updated since December last year, not even a minor update. LG is literally the worst with updates. Besides that, my phone is god damn slow. Sometimes I press a button, and it takes several seconds before I see the button being pressed on the screen. This is all on stock ROM, with many of the default apps uninstalled through root methods.
When I turn on the phone, it doesn't immediately respond to touch input. This is why I don't have a lockscreen. If I want to turn it on and unlock immediately, I can't. I have to wait a second.
THAT is why I hate LG.
2011? That's your own damn fault for buying something that wasn't a Galaxy S II. Hell the title of the thread back then said buy an SII for high budget or a ZTE Blade for low budget. Those 3D phones were just throwaway gimmicks, and where are they now?
[editline]5th December 2012[/editline]
I mean I understand your frustration but LG didn't have a good track record for software quality or updates back then either.
