I have used touchwiz a bit, and don't really care for it, but it is not too bad. Lg's optimus ui is pretty good, except for a couple things. 1. I can't delete homescreens, or set which one is the main one. 2. From what I hear it doesn't update ever.

I've been wondering if I should stop looking for the perfect Android phone (for my needs) and buy Lumia 920.
I'd still keep my Desire Z, maybe overclock it, so that I can keep tinkering with it. But with the Windows Phone I could do all my daily things, whatever I do with a phone.

Coming from the Desire Z keyboard straight to the windows phone touch keyboard was a weird experience in my short time using it

After installing Swiftkey I've rarely needed the hardware keyboard.
Now that I've flashed ICS on the phone it hardly works anymore, all the more reason for using software keyboard.

I love the hardware keyboard, I can type out a text by just feeling the keys, so I can keep walking and not bump into people, or occasionally tap out a message under the table while staring at my college lecturer so it looks as if I'm paying attention (She's old and rambles a lot, so I just take notes then zone out before starting the work as she starts rambling about her children)

Plus when swiftkey was installed it messed up the hardware keyboard so I had to get rid of it [IMG]http://sae.tweek.us/static/images/emoticons/frown.gif[/IMG]

How long should a NEXUS 7 take to boot up? my mum has the 16gb one and it can take anywhere from 20-30 seconds before you see the google logo or it wont boot until you've pressed and held the button down multiple times, yet in the manual it says 10 seconds?

Is it faulty? she only has 3 apps on there and the preinstalled ones so its nowhere near full

Something is definitely wrong there. The Nexus 7 isn't fast at booting up but it only takes 1 second for the Google logo to appear on mine, then about 25 seconds to boot fully.

What is the best phone out there now (or near Christmas/after Christmas [birthday is in Jan]) running Android that will be around 200 bucks to buy with a plan.
It's so confusing looking around. So far I'm thinking about the S3.

And don't buy anything or even touch their online shop. There is no confirmation if you press the buy button so once you press it even by accident, you get charged on your phone bill right away and there's no way to cancel it. I've tried. I've went back and forth between support, no dice.
