My sister wants a Nexus 7 for Christmas now she's seen me and my mom using ours. :P
We'll be the Nexus family soon enough. What have I created?!

Heaven?
I have made an amazing discovery
Putting a paper tube over the speaker on any device will amplify the sound, the larger the tube, the larger the sound (in the simplest way to describe it)
this is the best thing (I know it's been done before but whatever)
put your phone inside a glass, that does a similar thing.
unless you have a Note or something
I present to you, the MEGAPHONE
the loudest phone I had attatched to the tube with the loudest song I own
It actually hurts when it's pointed near your face

Now play the vuvuzela sound.
I jammed a Nokia E51 into my mouth once, sounded pretty weird.

And you're toothless ever since?
(Excuse me for this awful NOKIA STRONG joke)

If I could be bothered to send one to the phone, I would
I should do it one day and just walk about in town

I also like your keyboard. Brings back nice memories of the 90's :v:

Alright, now HTC is just fucking with us:

Is that fucking Android 4.0? They need to stop.
At this point HTC should just go bankrupt and get picked up by someone capable.
Or just stop making stupid Android phones. I have no idea how good/bad their WP devices are.

Between my family, we have a Nexus 4, 2 Nexus S's, a Galaxy Nexus, an S2 and a OneX.
Its sad being the only one without NFC

I love my IBM model M!
So today I was showing my teacher some photos of something and he held my small phone up to his face and even squinted to see the photos. God damn it, everyone was like laughing. Fuck.

You should get a Nexus 4 if you can get it. The GNexus is still a pretty good phone.
Yep, traditional storage never ever fails, and always 100% works.
Storage cards totally never break, and don't have overwriting limits on them, and HDDs happily keep rattling when you shake them, or keep all your data when you use a magnet on them.
Cloud storage has a very weak link that gives it a single point of failure.
No internet access, you screwed m8.
Atleast local storage techniques nowadays have error protection, anti file corruption, and warning of potential failure built in.

What is the "price league"? $100? $200? $300?
Cloud storage probably makes a copy of it or two. I believe Google makes at least 2 copies on top of the one you access.

Have it sync with a small fileserver at home when it's within range and the phone is hooked up to a charger.

Which is what I do.
So I decided to search for a video of the One X jelly bean update, and I found this disaster:

He even calls that "smooth" and "snappy".

Up to about 350€ which is about $450. I'd be also glad with more performance for less money.
You're in Germany, right? You should get the LG Nexus 4 16GB from the Play Store, it's 349€ there afaik. Definitely worth all the money.

I should get/make a file server, it's so useful.
Im after an ereader but would enjoy having a phone as well. Is the samsung Note 2 a good idea?
Check it out in a store, the size might be a bit too much. I loved reading on my Note, though.
The Nexus 4 bumper case is back in stock in the Play Store in the US. https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_4_Bumper_Black?id=nexus_4_bumper_black

How's your current phone?

Alright, thanks man. Going for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus though, for I am not to fond of the looks of the Nexus 4, but they are essentially the same/similar as fuck.
