You know, I still can't find any uses for Tasker.
look harder right now mine's set to turn on GPS when I switch to certain apps and turn it back off when I switch away [editline]12th December 2012[/editline] also I have it set to handle long pressing search and that pops up a little menu
im pretty sure you can leave gps turned on at all times? because it doesn't use any battery unless it's used
Does anyone know the shipping weight and cost of a nexus 10 to America? I'm getting tired of waiting and I think a forwarder would be cheaper than the AU prices
Reposting here, anyone ordered one?
Well at least Tasker will soon get a nice new UI, eventually.
How do I root
google. You're not being specific, are you? Rooting an Optimus 3D is done with the megatron exploit. Some devices can be rooted with SuperOneClick, the SII and N8010 (and many other Samsung devices) are rooted by flashing something in ODIN.
Is this something that can be fixed by modifying these values, or something that needs optimization in code?
I don't want to mislead you, but yes, it's possible that they may help. It would be one of those things that would require a lot of tweaking, and preferably automated testing too. [editline]12th December 2012[/editline]
You know, I still can't find any uses for Tasker.
Mine turns on WiFi only when I get home and changes volume, answers my SMSes when I'm in my car, calls back the person if they request it, etc. It's pretty useful!
GTA:VC is back in the Play Store. I'm not sure how long it's been available though. Maybe I'm late.
GTA:VC is back in the Play Store. I'm not sure how long it's been available though. Maybe I'm late.
really? nice... time to get it on the nexus 7
I wonder if San Andreas will come. That's the best GTA game I've played out of III, Vice City, San Andreas, Chinatown Wars, and IV.
GTA:VC is back in the Play Store. I'm not sure how long it's been available though. Maybe I'm late.
You're not late, they reuploaded it today. Originally they posted it last week for a couple of hours, but there were major download problems so they took it down. That's where the insane amount of bad ratings came from.
im pretty sure you can leave gps turned on at all times? because it doesn't use any battery unless it's used
except something (i suspect Facebook) likes to use my GPS 24/7 on occasion
I wonder if San Andreas will come. That's the best GTA game I've played out of III, Vice City, San Andreas, Chinatown Wars, and IV.
Most likely. And even GTA4 on Android in 2017 because of quad-core phones with hi res screens.
T-Mobile changed their minds yet again. I will be getting the LG Optimus L9 on Saturday for free. Almost 100% certain T-Mobile will say no to it again on Saturday. :v: EDIT: It will arrive on the 21st, but the changes to my account will occur on the 14th. I'll be left without a usable phone for a while.

hey it's not my fault that i'm the only one who realizes that android can't do web browsing
hey it's not my fault that i'm the only one who realizes that android can't do web browsing
You took the wrong pill.
im pretty sure you can leave gps turned on at all times? because it doesn't use any battery unless it's used
Yes, but some things will try using GPS for location when they shouldn't.
1st rule: we don't talk about ezhik's problem with tabs
That should be a thread rule. :v:
You took the wrong pill.
I took my only chance. There was no turning back, The story didn't end, I didn't just wake up in my bed believing whatever I wanted to believe. I stayed in the Wonderland. I saw how deep the rabbit hole goes.
hey it's not my fault that i'm the only one who realizes that android can't do web browsing
Actually it is your fault that you need 2304234234 tabs. I have the same problem on a 2 GB machine!
According to Tong, HTC will also be changing its marketing strategy in two key ways. The first involves having less flagship reboots (like the One X+), letting their high end models stay on the market longer. http://www.gsmarena.com/butterfly_sells_so_well_that_htc_has_to_increase_shipments-news-5194.php LMAO, I called it and here it is. Brace for flagship reboots by the end of next year.
Actually it is your fault that you need 2304234234 tabs. I have the same problem on a 4 GB machine!
I need like 6 tabs. It's not my fault that Android can't keep that in RAM.
I need like 6 tabs. It's not my fault that Android can't keep that in RAM.
Why did you open the entire internet 6 times? 'cause that's the only thing I can imagine that'd cause Android to downright drop it out of memory.
Why did you open the entire internet 6 times? 'cause that's the only thing I can imagine that'd cause Android to downright drop it out of memory.
2 Facepunch tabs, Tumblr, a Google search, 2 Wikipedia pages. That's the average set.
2 Facepunch tabs, Tumblr, a Google search, 2 Wikipedia pages. That's the average set.
I found your problem No mobile device can open facepunch without crashing
It's really because Android can't handle a single animated gif without lagging like shit. [editline]13th December 2012[/editline] iOS and WP8 work just fine
On my iPad Facepunch is fine but to comment on what you just said about GIFs, it doesn't run my Kaabii avatars or any other GIF ones at full speed.
