So Mediamarkt is having a VAT free weekend this weekend. Why hello there, Nexus 7 with a 40 euro discount. I'm praying that my nearest one has em in stock and can put one aside for me on Friday.
yaaaaay rooted my phone woop woop Now, any ICS roms for the desire Z V:v:V [editline]26th September 2012[/editline] Okay no, it crashed when I launched the SU app, but when it rebooted it's unrooted? [editline]26th September 2012[/editline] the SU app doesn't launch it force crashes fucks sake I want to throw this phone out the window more than I usually do
There aren't any truly stable and great ICS ROMs for it.
Yes you can apply it when the speed drop we're talking about is so significant that it can barely load a web page. I don't care that they do this and I knew that before even buying into my contract, but other people will get the wrong idea. Internet doesn't need to be snappy but it should be able to work at a decent speed if they're going to advertise it as unlimited.
Nope. You're free to use as much data as you want, and the throttling is stated in a user's contract. If any sort of actual logic said otherwise somebody would have made a case to force such unlimited plans to be marketed differently. But that has not been successfully done by any person or group.
There aren't any truly stable and great ICS ROMs for it.
it was a joke kinda, its a single core 800mhz POS I wasn't expecting a functional rom I can't even root it properly so it doesn't matter.
it was a joke kinda, its a single core 800mhz POS I wasn't expecting a functional rom I can't even root it properly so it doesn't matter.
At least it can be said that the Desire Z was one of the first 14.4Mbps phones out there. At that time most of the competition was the 7.2Mbps modems.
Scoring about an average 1-3 Mbps on Verizon 4g LTE, pretty sure it's the ArtPrize that's in town this week though. (300,000 attendance last year in a city of 180,000)
That's what I've been talking about the whole time. T-Mobile needs to market it differently!
But I stated the opposite, they don't need to market it differently and nobody has ever successfully shown otherwise. If you want to be the one to put forth a false advertising lawsuit be my guest, but it probably wouldn't even hit the courts because their claims fit the fundamental idea of unmetered data.
it was a joke kinda, its a single core 800mhz POS I wasn't expecting a functional rom I can't even root it properly so it doesn't matter.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=855764 Make sure you're S-OFF, then just flash AOSP because Sense and 512 megs of RAM will be an awful combination. [editline]26th September 2012[/editline]
Sorry lol. But yeah, the main problem is my phone is in permanent I CAN'T SEE SHIT CAPTAIN mode, so I can't reset through ClockworkMod. I'm pretty sure I can find the stock rom online somewhere and flash that on with SuperOneClick. So much bloatware, ugh. How would I go about manually deleting the superuser app and binary, by the way? If you don't mind me asking. Still fairly new to 'droids. Had the phone about a month before this happened... Talk about your bad luck.
Try getting to something like fastboot, find a computer based method of flashing the phone, in the same vein as Odin, RUU, SBF, etc..
Latest ICS Youtube update allows setting the channel feed to uploads only now. Would be awesome if this was the result of the feedback I sent. (I doubt it though)
The '2G' that you get from T-Mobile is absolutely atrocious. I surpassed my 5GB limit a few times and once I get throttled I can barely load a web page, certain low bandwidth apps function decently but you can forget about things like Youtube.
Thanks for the response, though I was looking for some speed tests. I guess it won't really matter since I only used about 500MB-1GB per month on my Triumph, but then again that figure may rise with a more snappy connection. However, I have to disagree with you on this page's discussion, they clearly indicate that the high speeds are only for a limited amount of data usage, and as long as you still get a connection beyond that, then it's certainly unlimited. A limited connection implies that once you use your allotment, you either lose data connectivity completely or start getting silently charged at $5 per kilobyte or however much carriers price overusage these days.
Well, Asphalt 7 doesn't work on my TF101.
I really hope the next Nexus comes out before November 27th. Because that's when I upgrade.

BREAKING NEWS: Android hates Ezhik, and Ezhik hates Android. More at 11, this is bullshit news.
At least it can be said that the Desire Z was one of the first 14.4Mbps phones out there. At that time most of the competition was the 7.2Mbps modems.
IS that any good today? or have we gone way past that :v: I don't know, some days I really like this phone because it's got a keyboard, then it reboots itself or randomly crashes apps, or shuts down if I open it to hard and is just generally slow to use, and I get frustrated V:v:V I use my phone for social networking and texting, so I'm debating buying myself a nokia Lumia 800 for about £230 at christmas (scored a job finally) as a replacement because windows mobile is just smooth as fuck and Nokia haven't really failed me yet with battery life and cameras and whatnot, does anybody think that's a bad idea apart from the idiots who blindly hate windows phones?
you saw my fun experience with android get windows while you still have the chance run
So I just finished installing CyanogenMod 9 on my Touchpad and it's a lot nicer and less broken than the last time I tried it (CM7). What kind of themes or customizations should I do to make it look prettier and shit? Also is there a way to disable the voice button on the top right next to search?

Well maybe the lack of a little bit more RAM, but I overclocked the processor a tiny bit so it's smooth.
why does this happen my phone is frying my leg
With the amount of problems you have with all your devices it has to be user error. You are clearly doing something wrong
