I took the phone to get it repaired and apparently some salt water from my trip to cape verde got in the usb port and fucked the phone up

I finally have an Android terminal. Bad thing is that it's an HTC Wildfire, it's like a potato phone. What can i do to make it a tad faster, apart from launching it into space?

Is there any way to use a PS3 controller on an android phone without the way where it replaces the keyboard? I often get texts and it would be annoying to have to change the settings, respond, change the settings again and continue play

So I finally got an ftp server working at my place and my phone can connect. The problem is it only connects to the home directory, how can I connect to other drives beside the home one? The permissions are the same and everything else works. Edit: never mind I got it working.

I replaced the digitizer on my phone, but now there are some specs of something in between it and the screen. How would I go about getting them out? I can open it pretty easily, but I already cleaned it a couple times, and they seem to come back. I can live with it, but it just looks dirty. Also do you think I could go to Verizon and play dumb and get a new one?

I just installed the new Facebook on BlueStacks. Gets about the same shit performance as on my phone.
