Maybe there's some government electromagnetic signals in Russia that break smartphones.

where's accepting, depression, and bargaining
besides, accepting would just be staying on android after all this shit
Is the Tab 2 7.0 a decent tablet for watching movies, series, anime, maybe playing a few games?
@Ezhik
DO YOU EVEN FLASH?!?!?
You running on Stock? If you are then you can complain more if not, then there you go. Still sucks that's happening.
Thanks for the response, though I was looking for some speed tests. I guess it won't really matter since I only used about 500MB-1GB per month on my Triumph, but then again that figure may rise with a more snappy connection. However, I have to disagree with you on this page's discussion, they clearly indicate that the high speeds are only for a limited amount of data usage, and as long as you still get a connection beyond that, then it's certainly unlimited. A limited connection implies that once you use your allotment, you either lose data connectivity completely or start getting silently charged at $5 per kilobyte or however much carriers price overusage these days.
I think I was arguing more so about the morality of calling something unlimited everywhere on advertisements, but then you see in the fine print that it actually throttles you down to 2G at some point. Sure it's technically unlimited, but I personally view truly unlimited internet as having a good connection at all times. Caps shouldn't exist in an unlimited plan.

Ours is unlimited, it just turns into unlimited dialup after you use 100 gigs

fwiw check and see what maps (more specifically, latitude) is doing. Latitude defaults a whole bunch of location shit to "on" that can completely obliterate the phone's ability to properly sleep when the screen is off.
The words 'flashing' and 'tabs' should be banned from this thread as they might push Ezhik over the edge.
Finally got my Nexus 7 tablet (and very first Android device) yeah

Too late.
In other news, my shitty HTC Desire Z can easily hold 20 Facepunch tabs in it's memory with Opera Mini.
ezhik broke
your tabs wouldn't hold even if they're printed out on paper.
my Firefox tabs reset when i force quit it. Try preventing the app being force closed
Got my self a nexus 7,liking it so far and its stored all my tabs
So I only just noticed I never saw any new posts in the android thread (never noticed the old one closed). Hi again!

Here's a better representation of what I'm dealing with. AT&T GS3.
I got a few questions,
What are the best emulators out there? For PS1, N64 and other (obviously multiple apps)
Do CM10 nightlies have worse battery life than stable? (Might be a stupid question)
Is there a Jelly bean rom for Galaxy S2?
Also im on CM10 nightly atm and i got this annoying as musicplayer i cant remove that came with the rom, Called "Apollo" I don't want it and I use poweramp but everytime i press play button on my earbuds (the ones you get with galaxy s2, with a play button on the cord) it starts playing music from Apollo instead of Poweramp. Anyone know how to fix this/remove apollo?

The battery life between nightlies and stable should be of negligible difference. The CM team really doesn't change much between nightlies - most of what they're doing now is bugfixes. I have no idea if there are jellybean ROMs for the S2, though I would be surprised if there aren't a few floating around xda-developers or rootzwiki. Even my iconia a200 is running jellybean.
You'll have to grab a file manager that has root permissions options to get rid of Apollo (or just use adb shell if you're savvy). ES File Manager works, but you'll have to enable root access in the settings menu of the app (don't forget to also tick the option to mount system as read/write). Apollo comes installed as a system app, so you'll want to delete /system/app/Apollo.apk to remove it. Alternatively you could try disabling it in settings > apps if you're on ICS and above.
For emulators, check out this thread
answer: your status bar
Being what? I'm logged out of steam and this problem existed before I even downloaded u Torrent.
utorrent, steam, that player, 4g, low cell signal, 41% screen use which means you probably arent in low brightness etc
I'm on lowest brightness and have been all day.
Do you guys know about a good screen protection for the Nexus 7? Something that would avoid the finger prints but not too thick either. Trying to find it through the Amazon France, and I'm hesitating between this http://www.amazon.fr/Cover-Up-Protection-d%C3%89cran-Anti-Reflet-Tablette/dp/B008OIEHJU or this http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0093JJOJM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=AIL9WQ0NM4EHT.
Is there also any good widgets/wallpapers database somewhere? Any recommended apps too ? (outside of Dropbox, Adobe Reader, Steam, Soundcloud)
Thanks in advance.

a lot of people have issues, i just choose to complain about them
[editline]27th September 2012[/editline]
but seriously
you'd think
that a phone would sleep when the fucking screen is off
but noo
it goes and becomes a portable leg warmer

i have literally no idea why did this happen
the phone wasn't even awake
why do you
type
like this
ezhik
but yeah, with nexus 7, the only issue is my tabs
with one x...
it freezes randomly, the battery is a bitch, there are screen glitches, i can't use my headset buttons right, it randomly stops my music and changes the volume. and sometimes it just reboots.
anyway, i'm gonna go back to sense, maybe it'll stop sucking so much. smooth jelly bean experience my ass

i don't even know anymore
So anyways, I got 58 mb/s download standing at the transit station. Gotta love SF, using the Sony Xperia Ion.
But ever since the Iphone5 came out I don't get 20mb/s in my bathroom anymore.
ezhik i dont want to be a dick but in my personal opinion you coming in here just to complain about android is getting kinda old
sorry, i'll try to stop
it's stupid anyway
