TitaniumBackup is a must in case you want to screw around with ROMs or just want to have a backup of everything in case shit goes bad.

Wow so the EU One S is getting it before One X, amazing! (I know RUU is sort of out but that's not OTA etc.)
Also FlashFireSix, make sure you go and enable Smart Alert and Smart Stay and all that jazz!
Apple's gonna be all over his ass then.
I bet the Galaxy S2 is going to get an OTA sooner than the One S.

S2 already has official Jellybean firmware.
S2 already has official Jellybean firmware.
But is it rolling out in OTA updates yet, or is it just the leaks that are on XDA?
edit: Checked XDA, those guys would be jizzing blood if it started rolling out via OTA updates, and it's silent there.
I wish my Nexus 4 would arrive soon.
Is there any way to roll back my phone to a previous OS version? A few days ago 4.1.1 came out for my Atrix HD, and it takes away so much more than it gives. It's got some nice features but not nearly enough to make it better than whatever I had before. Is there some way to revert without voiding the warranty or rooting it or any of that nonsense? Could I potentially back everything up onto an SD card and factory reset this biznatch?
Reposting. If I could get my hands on a previous version, would I be able to install it as if it were a custom ROM?

Factory reset does nothing to the firmware, it's just like restoring Windows.

Oh, alright. I've never messed much with these types of things, I would've experimented with my old phone after getting this new one but the only other android phone I've ever owned has been dead for a little over a year now.
Would I be able to do anything with this? They've got a download of the exact OS version I'd like to go back to, would the phone allow me to install it or would I need to root it or anything?
i wish i could order my nexus 4
I had a shitton of luck. I ordered when it said 6-7 weeks delivery time. Like 20 minutes later it was out of stock.
Hope it arrives before February though
Anyone know when the Galaxy Note 10.1 Jellybean update is hitting the UK? Me and my mum got two for Christmas as a surprise gift.

I've downloaded the OS version I want to go back to and I've used RSD Lite to unpack it, I'm following the instructions on that website to try to flash everything correctly but when I've got the phone in fastboot mode and I connect it to my computer, RSD Lite doesn't recognize it and refuses to flash it. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

You just stole XDA's copyrighted theming system. Why don't you just sell it to Apple while you're at it, you heretic?
