So on my I747, I'm trying to update to CM10 via CWM. I installed 6.0.1.4 and it wouldn't boot into recovery. The SAMSUNG screen said "booting recovery" but it just stopped booting. Before, I got the aborted install because the device didn't match even though I got the right CM10. Suggestions?

I'm looking to try and root my girlfriends Desire HD, is there any way easier than pissing about with ADB? and we couldn't get SuperOneClick to work

Maps with Me pro is $2, offline maps that you can download (entire provinces / states /countries). Has anyone used this app?

I used GPS Navigation 2 - SatNav by skobbler for offline maps when I went on vacation to Spain. I can't say how well it was for finding restaurants and shops but it was fine for finding directions to places. The design of the app is really nice too

Solid explorer can do ftp too, it's also a really good file browser and out of beta last week. Given airdroid a try too. Makes connecting and management so much easier and faster, better than ftp.

Can I have some help? I installed CM10 nightly (122612) via CWM 6.0.1.2 on my S3 (I747). I wiped caches, factory reset, etc. and flashed the rom and GAPPS. On boot, however. com.google.gapps or whatever crashes as well as Setup Wizard. There's just a black screen and keeps crashing indefinitely. I tried reflashing but to no avail. What do I do?

What do I do?[/QUOTE] Try redownloading the latest GAPPs. There's a chance they may be corrupted, or you have downloaded the wrong version of GAPPs.

Lol nope FP throws the biggest troll fest whenever a pony related thread pops up. I've been to most of them. Flaming happens and the thread usually gets locked, bans go everywhere and we forget about it. Don't seeing furry or other stuff on fp, it's mainly ponies and dragons now.
