Blargh, I could've gotten a 16gb Nexus 7 for ~90-100 at Asda if they weren't all sold out. :suicide:
the nexus 4 is very sexy
was it rooted on ics? do you have OTA rootkeeper?
I've never rooted it, it's not even unlocked
Anyone got a link to the 4.2 Camera apk with working photosphere (that would work on Galaxy S2 i9100)? I'm searching on XDA but I'm finding weird stuff. edit: clarification - by weird stuff I meant mostly apk's that require you to do additional things, including changing your build.prop so your phone acts like a Galaxy Nexus. IIRC there was an apk where this wasn't needed?
I've never rooted it, it's not even unlocked
you dont need to unlock to root. If possible go back to ICS, root the device, install OTA root keeper and backup root, then update back to jellybean
I've been getting a weird feeling from using Android for the past couple of days. I finally figured out what it is. It's the feeling you get when you're actually using the device instead of fighting against stupid design decisions in the OS. I got the same feeling when I found a Linux distribution for my laptop that I liked and ended up not booting into Windows for a month.
Damn Chrome using up so much ram that it closes down steam and other apps. Still fighting with my phone. I should over clock it. [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] Because it's still slow as shit. [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] Oh and it's a nice feeling when you know what is where on your phone like apps and settings.
nfs most wanted is pretty and is on sale for one dollar
Damn Chrome using up so much ram that it closes down steam and other apps.
This, this all the god damn time!
I still haven't found a Linux distro that I like. Ubuntu was too hard to get used to. Anyway, some people are reporting Jan-June release days for JB on the RAZR.

Back when I had Samsung's stock ROMs I always felt the need to tweak and fix something somewhere because I didn't like how Samsung made it. Most of this is caused by Android 4.1 and 4.2 additions, but also how CM improved or overhauled some Android features. Not like I didn't love my phone before, but I love it even more now. I've always enjoyed using backtrack as you Linux distribution. It was always my favorite.
PicoReview of the Energizer Inductive Charger with the Nexus 4 Pros: Wireless charger: fuck yeah Cons: The Nexus 4 is slippery, and the Charging pad is angled. It wont stay on it unless you put something under the lower side of the charger to prop it up. In my case, I used quarters. Overall: I have no idea, but that con is pretty annoying.
nfs most wanted is pretty and is on sale for one dollar
Not compatible...
Maybe this is a nice game for your phone?
I wonder when Google/LG are going to release the N4 wireless charger. Nexus accessories are mysterious.
I wonder when Google/LG are going to release the N4 wireless charger. Nexus accessories are mysterious.
I just want to see something that makes use of the pogo pins on the Nex.7, hopefully a charging/sound stand is coming soon
I just want to see something that makes use of the pogo pins on the Nex.7, hopefully a charging/sound stand is coming soon
shit like this? http://liliputing.com/2012/12/google-nexus-7-audio-dock-pops-up-in-japan-gets-a-dramatic-unboxing-video.html
Wow, streaming video over FTP is surprisingly fast. It's kinda broken with 10bit though :( [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] oop, fixed MX player's hardware based decoding isn't terribly good Software works perfectly
change the settings in whatever video player you're using edit: nvm I should stream off FTP
Hardware decoding is actually brilliant, it's just not very good for FTP-based 10bit video at the moment It's the only thing I'm using software for
10bit usually lags on my phone :-(
I tried MIUI I wanted to kill myself
I tried MIUI I wanted to kill myself
Avatar... ...fits
No, my old avatar did
Blah, whatever she was smashing stuff so I'd guess you were smashing MIUI
MIUI is awesome, the only rom that made me feel like I am using a different OS ([sp]Even though it's extremely similar to IOS[/sp]) The amount of things you can customize with themes is amazing too, when I used MIUI my phone was kind of like a mix between stock android and windows phone 7 with a tiny bit of IOS
Okay, maybe I'm a fucking nut, but I swear to god there's something wrong with my Nexus 7's screen I got a wifi only 8gb version near the end of the summer, and loved it. Then Christmas rolls around, and I get the 32gb 3g version, but a few hours of browsing in, and I realize I can see all the individual pixels and everything looks kinda sorta blocky, like there's scanlines. I thought maybe I just noticed that, but I went to look at my old one, and didn't really notice them. I have no idea how that would possibly happen or, if it was a legitimate problem, how I would document it. It's just really annoying and I half think it's in my head, but still... Anyone think there might be something that would cause that? Google comes up empty. Maybe I'll send it back for a new one under some other issue
