well that's pretty damn obvious it would [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] and your own fault
My DZ would get burn in for a little while from facebook messenging my GF on holiday I didn't even think that was possible on an S-LCD screen
That's because it really isn't. If it was "burn in" it'd still be there.
That's because it really isn't. If it was "burn in" it'd still be there.
I didn't know there was a different term? Okay temporary burn in, I guess :v:
my friends crt tv had a burn in from the star counter in super Mario 64
or maybe i'll call it the "screeney-go-shapey-of-picture-after-whiley" effect
It's called image persistence when referring to temporary retention of an image on an LCD display.
holy shit, use your damn phones and don't care about the small things like burn ins... use your phone like it's supposed to be used, because in a year or two you will have a new phone
Two years? I wish I was that rich. When I was buying my S2 my plan was to use it for at least 4 years, the only thing I'm going to change is the battery because I know that sooner or later it'll wear out.
iCole I'm the kind of person who doesn't like sitting in the swings for too long because all I can think about is how over time the chains will have worn down very slowly and could snap and I might die I don't need to be reminded about burn in :suicide:
Guess I might also let you know that you are now breathing manually.
Guess I might also let you know that you are now breathing manually.
You're now feeling really itchy, all over the place, especially your head.
You're now feeling really itchy, all over the place, especially your head.
Okay, fuck you. that worked on me :v:
There is no comfortable spot for your tongue in your mouth
Guess I might also let you know that you are now breathing manually.
Suprisingly that has never bothered me, I forget within 10 seconds of reading it :v: [editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
There is no comfortable spot for your tongue in your mouth
I'm eating a mint, and I have an entire bag left, so I don't need a comfortable spot currently [editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
You're now feeling really itchy, all over the place, especially your head.
Wearing a headset, so it's tightly wrapped on my head so it's not itchy [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] I WILL NOT FALL INTO YOUR TRAPS
But the burn in/persistence/screen cancer is not a trap.
I WILL NOT FALL INTO YOUR TRAPS
Your headset isn't on the spot that it's usually at, and it's unnerving you, and you can't get it to a comfortable spot. You're also completely aware of your blinking now.
I can't take pictures with my phone. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LxsLs.jpg[/t] Galaxy S2 running CM10.1 You hear me? I can't. Everything is wrong about this.
There's absolutely nothing to photograph where I live, at this time of the year. Everything's under snow or ice, and looks boring. Not to mention, I would have to go outside.
I'm contemplating just going to stock 4.1 once it's really officially out. I don't care if the drivers are written properly to work with AOSP. I don't care if it's opensource. I just want an AOSP look on my S2, that's why I installed CM. But remapping the hardware buttons is fucking awesome too (along with enabling the menu overflow button), and afaik there's no tweak for stock firmware to enable the overflow button :( is this too much to ask? :( edit: and the lack of a crt-off effect is driving me crazy on completely stock ROMs. Samsung, fuck you for removing that. it looks nice.
I WILL NOT FALL INTO YOUR TRAPS
Your hair is constantly growing. The stuff on top of your head, any facial hair you might have, your pubes, all growing 24/7. And you can feel it.
Your hair is constantly growing. The stuff on top of your head, any facial hair you might have, your pubes, all growing 24/7. dammit that one usually works on me
Any other Nexus 10 owners having issues with 4.2.1? I'm hesitant to upgrade since I'm having no issues with 4.2. I've heard 4.2.1 users are having random reboots.
I have an ASUS Transformer, I don't know what way / method to read from my storage devices. I don't want anything that relies on connection. It appears as though my only way is to copy / paste what I want onto the SD card, and delete it afterwards to make room for things. Any ideas? Any transformer users here that know how to hook up at least a thumb drive to your tablet?
You guys have any tips on installing a screen protector? fucking stupid shit pieces of dust keep appearing and i blew away 4 protectors already how the fuck do people even do it
You guys have any tips on installing a screen protector? fucking stupid shit pieces of dust keep appearing and i blew away 4 protectors already how the fuck do people even do it
I used some spray that came with my GF's invisibleshield, then squeegeed the shit out of it if you don't have any spray, try doing it in a steamy room, like go into the bathroom and put the shower on max for ages, make sure you wipe down the phone like a madman with a microfibre cloth first, then when the phone screen has moisture on it, apply the screen protector, adjust it into the right place and squeegee all the water out of it
wouldn't that activate the moisture indicator sticker?
Nope, not unless you drop it in a body of water, the indicator is hidden inside the body of the phone (well, usually) I've actually used my Desire Z in the shower multiple times and the indicator is still fine (not a great decision in hindsight, but I probably got lucky)
Is/has anyone else tried using Play Music? I uploaded my library, but now I've gone and added album art (to some files), and fixed some ID3 tags, I can't get it to reupload them.
You guys have any tips on installing a screen protector? fucking stupid shit pieces of dust keep appearing and i blew away 4 protectors already how the fuck do people even do it
Apply in a humid room, like in bathroom after a hot shower. Worked for me, no dust at all on first attempt.
I've never used a screen protector or case before and I've never had a cracked/scratched screen with any of my phones I've owned. Is there any point to having a screen protector on fancy gorilla glass devices other than making the screen look worse?
