Doesn't surprise me. Those are basically the only two flagships that still support microSD and removable battery.
I don't think the average consumer gives a shit about either of those, the S3 and N2 sell a ton because of Samsung's huge marketing budget, its hard NOT to hear about them.
I've never used a screen protector or case before and I've never had a cracked/scratched screen with any of my phones I've owned. Is there any point to having a screen protector on fancy gorilla glass devices other than making the screen look worse?
Buy a shitty screen protector and you'll notice it
buy a half decent one and you'll never see it till the day you peel it off to sell your phone with an immaculate screen
I can't tell my phone has one on over the screen at all, it looks exactly the same because I applied it carefully with no dust or hairs, and my last phone had some deep scratches on it, so why not spend a couple pounds and save yourself quite a few pounds later on when you sell it
Sorry but I think every screen protector makes a screen look grainy. Even the one that was like $60 on my friend's iPad is still visible, although very barely.

I used a screen protector on my old iPhone 4S and one day I decided to take it off and use the phone without a screen protector for a few weeks.
The phone now has hairline scratches EVERYWHERE
There's absolutely nothing to photograph where I live, at this time of the year.
Everything's under snow or ice, and looks boring.
Not to mention, I would have to go outside.
Ever used GhostArmor? I like it, I'm rocking one right now. Only issues I have is that it collects a shit ton of dust overnight (but you clean it and it's so damn satisfying) and that it makes me cringe when I put my fingernails on it by accident when playing games.
If I ever have to use a friend's device with a screen protector I always feel like peeling it off, they just bug me so bad

To be honest I'd rather just carry around a pouch for the device, far better than a screen protector + doesn't hinder screen quality
I don't like most cases I see.
The screen protector that was factory installed fooled so many people, some people on XDA didn't even realize there was on installed on their phones.

Most screen protectors that I've seen don't make the screen grainy but instead make it cloudy and difficult to read in sunlight.
If you don't have the solution or don't want to apply it in humid room use 100% alcohol.
Used it on my Nexus 7 with the ZAG protector. 0/10 On the ZAG protector It came to large like it was stretched. I cut it to size and poof there went my warranty :(
You can also handle your screen protectors if your covered in alcohol... Just don't let the screen protector touch its self... You will be there for atleast 10min trying to get it to separate.
Yah I've used a little spray bottle of alcohol when applying them for customers. It's fun to spray it through a lighter when asked what's in the bottle.

I've kept the factory installed film on for a few months, it was a thin piece of sheet. Then I got 5 screen protectors for $1. Applied the first one no problem.
I'm assuming this is the right place to ask questions.
A few months back I had a ROM on my SGS2 which allowed me to hold the home button to turn the torch on, I was wondering if there's anything like that for CM 9.1?
My DZ would get burn in for a little while from facebook messenging my GF on holiday
I didn't even think that was possible on an S-LCD screen
That's some image retention, but it goes away after the liquid crystals have been cycled a bit.

The glossy ones usually don't cause grain.
You guys have any tips on installing a screen protector? fucking stupid shit pieces of dust keep appearing and i blew away 4 protectors already how the fuck do people even do it
Clean it up with rubbing alcohol and a lint roller first. Then use scotch tape to make a little hinge that holds the screen protector so that when you raise it up, it falls down perfectly aligned. Then make sure there's no dust, peel off the rear sticker and quickly drop the protector.
There will be a shitload of bubbles, so get a microfiber cloth or something like that to push them out. Remove the top film to remove the tape, and then try to get all the bubbles out. If there's dust that's causing bubbles, use one piece of scotch tape to hold up the screen protector while using another piece to quickly dab the area to remove the dust.

I would rather use a random TPU case than risk dropping it while using the phone. A pouch only protects when you aren't using it.
i don't want to get started on the screen protector shit
but since i just got my spigen on my N7
probably 99% invisible (be 100 if i didn't screw up the camera hole just a bit), feels nearly exactly the same as the glass, does nothing to screen quality
I'll use a screen protector when they make ones that automatically clean grubby fingers
I have an ASUS Transformer, I don't know what way / method to read from my storage devices. I don't want anything that relies on connection. It appears as though my only way is to copy / paste what I want onto the SD card, and delete it afterwards to make room for things. Any ideas? Any transformer users here that know how to hook up at least a thumb drive to your tablet?
with my transformer i either use my external HDD, usb stick, or i use solid explorer and connect to my computer via the wifi

Asus has a proprietary plug to usb adapter tht should be able to read a thumb drive at least. If you have the keyboard dock, the usb port there will even read a hard drive.

Not like the glass will help with stopping grime accumulation.

Grime builds up at the side of protectors though

Then just replace it. You can get like 5 for 5 USD.

I'm not saying they're expensive, just not worth the apparent bother
Maybe I've stumbled upon some magical brand (Mofred) but the screen protector has done NOTHING to my screen quality, I forget it's even one the phone
5 for $1 screen protectors, causing no problem at all. Although it looks ugly because they cut out for the camera and light sensor and in bright light you can see it having that plastic hue. Nonetheless at least you guys can get cases.
Yeah, there's grain, but seriously the N4 camera is still impressive.

Is that Prague? The most beautiful city i've been to!
It is, picture shows the Charles Bridge and National Theatre in the far distance. Taken from Mánes Bridge.
(good thing we had a dslr on scene, so there's going to be some useful pictures at least)
And yeah, Prague is definitely pretty.
Does anyone have a Nexus 10?
I'm thinking about saving up for one but I'm not sure about the app selection.

Snapseed made it look surprisingly better (it's still bad, but the software changes are great).

Anyways, even at lowest iso (64) I still get shit image noise. Here's some clouds.
