Was shot on Auto mode (CM10.1 camera), no settings tweaked. S2's stock camera would definitely handle the picture better.
And yeah I should try snapseed
Throw in some exif data man!
Anyways, even at lowest iso (64) I still get shit image noise. Here's some clouds.

Just some color noise, easy enough to get rid of.

I was talking about the raw image having some much image noise before any editing which is generally bad because you want the best image quality as possible to work with in post. Image noise is still easy to remove. What did you use to do that, snapseed?
Also that low iso 32 on N4 and shutter speed.

I googled "online photo editor color noise" or something like that and used one of the first results, http://editor.pho.to/ although I had another go using Lightroom. Options used were: Sharpening: Amount 150 (max), radius 3.0 (default 1.0), detail 0 (default 50), Noise reduction: Luminance: Amount 50, detail 100, Color: Amount 100.
Comparing all three versions side by side, looks like Lightroom (with the sharpening) did a great job of preserving detail while still eliminating the color noise. There's still a hint of luminance noise but it's not nearly as bad, and I probably could've turned down the sharpening a bit too.

Also, where are you finding ISO 32 and 64? All the camera apps I have just start at 100.
In other news, LunarUi II has entered open beta:

Hey, for Android 4.2 lockscreen, every once and awhile it will highlight ~75% of the screen in a white box, and when I unlock it, opens the messaging app into a random(?) old conversation. What's causing this and how can I prevent it? I think it has something to do with the gyroscope, because it only happens when I pick it up, but I can't manage to recreate it. It just happens occassionally and it's really annoying
Those photos may be all taken at iso 100. Anyways I use quick pic.

Is it a lockscreen widget? You can view them by swiping in from the edge of the screen, or by swiping down on the clock on the main lockscreen and then swiping to the sides.
So I've found my old Samsung Galaxy 3, I'm attempting to put this on it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803180 , but I've no idea how to use Odin. I've googled around nothing I find seems to help me in any way. Can anybody help me to do this?

Put phone into download mode ( Volume up + home + power )
Connect phone, the ID:COM should be yellow.
Put file into PDA, and tick it.

keep auto reboot and F. Reset time ticked, LEAVE THE OTHER OPTIONS..
Press start and it should flash it

Nope, it's on the main page, and can't be swiped to. It just happens.
Guys, I really want to use DataSync to sync my N4 & N7 but the bank app I use won't work if I root. :(
Anyone else have a similar problem?
I'd love to sync Currents, games saves & podcast data.
Do you reckon you could download it and find which file needs to be put into it? Various files come with it, I'm not sure which one I should use (I feel really stupid right now)
The motoactv was a bit tricky to root (i didn't think i'd need motocast installed to do it!) and the fact that you have to disable ADB to move files to it via explorer was a little counter-intuitive, but once you get it rooted it's pretty badass, even for a OMAP3 running 2.3... Handles 2.3 a lot better than my OG Droid/XBMC remote does, either way.
Can't see smart watches becoming the thing of the future, though. i'm quite satisfied with it as a timepiece and as a MP3 player, but as a full on computing device it's a little awkward and propably not everyone's cup of tea. Google Maps is awesome on it, though -- Especially with the 'Cache on Device' functionality. It's a lot better of a deal for the price than your average rolex, either way; It's less hideously expensive than a rolex yet does substantially more to justify it's price, even if it lacks the asthetic fanciness of the typical Rolex.
Anyone else around here with this little bugger?
I'm not saying they're expensive, just not worth the apparent bother
Sure I guess, but I haven't run into the grimy edge issue. I usually just use my shirt sleeve to clean the phone off.
Call me stupid but I cannot figure out how to send an SMS to all contacts in Jellybean 4.2
Any ideas? I can manually start typing the name when i make a new SMS, but I don't want to do that for every single person I have. On my old phone, I could 'mark' users to send an SMS to, or even send to a whole group on my phone. Now it seems I can't!
try another SMS app maybe?
I got to have a quick play around with a Nexus 7, why did I have to miss out on getting mine? ;~;
What music app does everybody use?
What music app does everybody use?
I use MPDroid and stream from a few MPD servers
Otherwise, GPlay does the job

Default app on galaxy S3
it's actually good, and has a nice widget v:v:v
[editline]31st December 2012[/editline]
Can anybody help me with this? I used to use iTunes, when I used my iPod classic as my main music player, and when I came home I could put it in my dock and keep listening to the music as I sat at the PC
now I've got my galaxy S3 I don't know how to.. Is there any programs that can do that? just plug the S3 in to the PC and it'll show up as a media library ready to be played from?

hmm
well you could try to just play it from a folder
i'm not sure you can use it with itunes like that though
oh and try isyncr if you want to sync with itunes, it's awesome

Yeah that's what I was going to resort to, but it's annoying because I need to then wait for the S3 to load the folder, then select it all and open it in a media player and that'll take a while, whereas it was simpler with my iPod, but then again the iPod had all the downsides of being an iPod, so I don't want to use it anymore
my iTunes library is empty :v: I just carried all my music around on the iPod classic, like a massive, music playing memory stick
[editline]31st December 2012[/editline]
I already ripped all the music to the S3 using DoubleTwist
i just keep my favorites playlist on the phone and sync it with isyncr
then i use itunes for listening on my desktop
[sp]no i don't want to use foobar2000[/sp]

I tried foobar2000 and it was complicated and annoying, I don't see why everybody gets so excited about it
I might try that isyncr thing
