Anyone got any comments to share on this?
I found it on XDA, so I'm not exactly trusting the whole thing, but I was thinking about ordering one.
Seems like a nice concept, and I seriously need the phone to be bulkier, it feels weird to hold in my hand when it's so slim.
Not to mention more battery life woop
The concept is nothing new, whether or not this one is legit is the bigger issue.
meanwhile my /r/Android about exactly that is sitting at -33 karma
also they told me to skip the post if i don't like it, which sounds suspiciously similar to "don't like it, don't use it"
and with their claims about how xda is terrible, it really makes you wonder
/r/android likes to furiously circlejerk over whatever the hell is cool that day, don't mind them.
lol Rogers
Bell is slightly less evil (slightly).
The only reason I'm sticking with Rogers is because the coverage is great where I need it (Even at our camp, in the middle of fucking nowhere I get 3 bars of 3G) and Rogers OneNumber is the closest thing to Google Voice that we're going to get in this country. If anything it's better since I trust Rogers a tiny bit more than Google not to sell my information.
Though the real reason is that I'm on a family plan and I only pay my mother when I go over my data cap or use long distance. If I had to pay for it, I would probably be on Koodo or some shit.
how long should adb take to push a 200mb file to a nexus 7
it takes like 10 minutes wtf
Why are you using adb to push a file to your nexus 7.

It was terribly slow when I tried it as well.

no other way at the very moment

my NAS isn't turned on and i can't mount it for some reason
I've been on 4.1.1 for some time now (Galaxy Nexus) and still haven't gotten the latest update. Should I be concerned?
mtp is shit
I have no idea about other platforms, but at least on Windows MTP is like a brother of Mass Storage that has downs syndrome.

Make sure you're getting updates from Google as opposed to Samsung.
takju: devices sold through the Play Store in the US. Contains the Google Wallet aplication.
yakju: devices sold through Google outside the US.
yakjuxw: devices sold by Samsung.
If your device is a yajkuxw (you can find out in Settings - About Phone iirc), you will either have to convert it to a yakju or wait until Samsung pushes the update.
good to know that you've gone through 2,000 of my posts and have evaluated every single one
if you're going to insult someones posting you should make sure yours is better first!!

i use dbpoweramp but that's paid and mp3tag works fine
I remember you joining, your name should be a dead giveaway why you are a bad poster, and your ban history speaks a lot more :v:
[editline]3rd January 2013[/editline]
I just checked mine out of interest and apparently I got banned once for a meme reply and I never noticed because I was asleep and then away from the PC for the entire time :v: lucky I guess
Whatever back to Android: Does anybody know any cheap bluetooth keyboard/mice that work well? I'm talking really cheap
[APK] Seeder entropy generator to provide significant lag reduction
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
I uh.. I have no fucking idea what this did, but before I installed this, my YouTube app took like two seconds to load. Now it pops up almost instantly. And Google Now seems faster too.

Seems pretty simple actually, read the OP.
why is that an issue in the first place
Wow, not sure if I'm placebo'd but it seems to make my nexus 7 unholy amounts more responsive
does feel a bit smoother
yay placebo effect
[editline]3rd January 2013[/editline]
knowing my luck it'll fuck up somehow
wtf, it does seem to improve
I didn't notice anything on my i9300 v:v:v
okay it's definitely faster
damn it google
google probably have an important reason for doing that
it's a pretty basic task
I don't see any difference with the APK, I'll try flashing the Seeder_v5.zip to see if anything changes
changes only seemed to show up after I let it boot with it on
[editline]3rd January 2013[/editline]
it kept turning off before that too
after flashing the thing, I think it's running faster
I mean, Currents loaded every article from December 2011 from Metro UK in probably 2-3 seconds, maybe less; that may probably be just Currents being fast
[editline]hello[/editline]
yeah it's way faster now but the battery seems to be going down even faster than usual
Seems pretty simple actually, read the OP.
All I understand is that OP is a wizard :v: I cannot into development.
But I suppose the reason that Google didn't include this is because it might be certain a security risk.
also I'm not sure if you guys heard of the SD card bootloader for the GS3 and the Galaxy Camera; if they get it working, then the S3 is practically unbrickable :v:
Not seeing any difference here.
Well I guess now the only way you can brick an S3 now is actually dropping a brick onto it.

why does youtube need truly random numbers

Hm, interesting. I'll install the APK before flashing that .zip...
