Everything was faster because of that higher CPU clock, hence the worse battery life.
I'm glad I didn't try and pretend to myself my phone was faster, I uninstalled the app the same day because it didn't feel like it did anything
the only thing I noticed was instead of showing a splash screen when I clicked on an icon on my home screen, the UI would freeze with the icon highlighted, then launch into the app, and that looked ugly
Mine actually was quicker, but not by much. I un installed the same day because the slight uptick in speed wasn't worth the security risks and murdering my battery.
So Uh, this game bike race, it turns on my screen when I get a notification (for the game), what the fuck is up with that.
Just bought a nexus 7, loving it so far
I should probably uninstall that "app".
Is it worth it to get a rom that lets me use the tablet UI? not a huge fan of the phone one

I uh.. I have no fucking idea what this did, but before I installed this, my YouTube app took like two seconds to load. Now it pops up almost instantly. And Google Now seems faster too.
Can't tell a difference in anything on my Nexus 4, but then again I already don't have sort of load times or periods of stutter, not even right after it finishes booting.
Nevermind, just edited the density field in build.prop
aaaaaa tablet ui is so nice

As of 4.2 tablet UI is basically gone sadly
Which sucks shit because I loved the 10 inch tablet UI, but google apparently didn't.

They should at least add something to the black area under the screen with the three buttons. It almost feels like a waste until you start a full-screen app.
Is there any way to boost the volume higher than the limit on my Nexus 7?
Been watching videos but it's pretty quiet, even with headphones.

What theme is that? And yeah, dual-pane mode is kind of cool. Impractical on anything smaller than a 4.5 inch phone though

LunarUI II beta (it's free)
those switches are ugly wow
I like how I finally got in Ingress invite like months later...
games always use the random function, using this may mess up games, or make them not as random and more predictable.
Fruit Ninja always gives the exact same game the first time I tell it "arcade mode". I can pretty much memorize it.
Which is why I always immediately pause and hit restart nowadays, since everything after that one seems to be random.

I suppose notifications can do that; imo beta opens up your screen and gives you a quick reply prompt whenever you get a message. It uses the proximity sensor as well I think, but I'm not certain. I've mistaken the proximity sensor on the S2 for a non-existent notification light before, so take it with a mound of salt :v:

That sucks, the game has no settings other than sound I think, and I can't find anyone else having this problem..
I'm selling my samsung galaxy s2 for AT&T on ebay. I assume I remove my SIM card and keep it, right? It's deactivated and everything because the N4 doesn't use full size Sim cards. Just making sure, I haven't sold a phone before and don't know what information the SIM card holds.
pretty damn obvious that you remove YOUR sim card
You should also remove any other cards like microSD cards
Also playing cards.
Also playing cards.
And maybe your credit cards too.
What do I do with my old SIM card? Break it?
you save it goddammit
you save it goddammit
What's the point of saving a deactivated old SIM-card?
oh, its deactivated?
