I've discovered that even a deactivated SIM can be used for activating a phone that requires a SIM to work (I did this with my old iPhone when giving it away to a friend :v:)
can't you like use it again by reactivating it by the carrier?
My friend just gave me a beat up xperia arc, how do these things hold up to new phones?
can't you like use it again by reactivating it by the carrier?
With many carriers if a SIM is deactivated longer than a period of time, usually thirty days, it becomes voided.
My friend just gave me a beat up xperia arc, how do these things hold up to new phones?
Looks pretty good, it's a nice dual core phone that could probably play GTAIII and other games smoothly. Looks equivalent to a Galaxy S2 and could likely handle jellybean. RAM looks like a bottleneck, but still looks decently powerful.
xperia arc... that's the single core, 512mb one, not the dual core, xperia arc s. that phone is, well essentially as bad as my phone but larger and without a keyboard.
xperia arc... that's the single core, 512mb one, not the dual core, xperia arc s. that phone is, well essentially as bad as my phone but larger and without a keyboard.
Oh, is the scorpion not a dual core? I just did a quick check on the wikipedia page for it, must've misinterpreted it. The phone still isn't too awful. Definitely not current gen, but still totally usable for modern apps (maybe not GTAIII)
http://m.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_arc-3619.php it can still play games like gta 3 like my phone, expect lag and such but there's a ton of roms and developer support. [editline]4th January 2013[/editline] oh and the cameras is 8mp
Is there any way I can make my transformer infinity not sync to old notifications (notifications that came while the tablet was off) and only notify me of shit that happens after I turn it on? I'm sick of geetting spammed with vibrations and "dee-dee-ding"s for the first minute the tablet is on.

anyone here has a list of free apps that'd be great to have? or some cheap paid too, whatever be it games or anything [editline]5th January 2013[/editline] i have an htc desire by the way
I can't recommend bad piggies enough, it's free, it works on the shittiest of phones, and it's hella fun
That makes no sense.
What doesn't make sense?
Is Nexus 7 worth buying? I'm thinking of buying a tablet or getting more money and building a PC (but I don't have any space for one in my room). But then I heard about Nexus 7 lacking rear camera, and microSD slot, which made me worried, since I would like to transfer all my songs (5.5 gigs) so I can listen them offline, and not using Google Music or anything like that.
download for offline nexus7 is the best 7incher around (and i dont mean penises)
OK, and one more question - How does Nexus 7 handles with games?
32 Gigabyte model is your best bet then,
I would, but my budget doesn't allow me for it.
As well as pretty much any Android device. Tegra 3 is basically what games are aimed at in terms of the best graphics on Android.
I would, but my budget doesn't allow me for it.
Well then either wait until you have, or you'd have to blindly trust streaming services for your music.
It's $50 and it's well worth it. I was a 64GB iPad owner and I felt it was worth the $200 over the base model to get there, $50 is a lot more fair than that to get to 32GB.
And considering how large some games can be (NFS: Most Wanted is 2GB), 16GB (of which you get 13) can be a bit stifling.
Seriously, just save for 32 GB. 50 dollars to not have regrets over storage is a small price to pay. Its better to have too much than not enough.
IMO, either the Nexus 7 should've ALSO have sported a SD-card slot, or 32GB should've been the base model.
Yeah the lack of an SD card slot bothered me a little, although I went for the 32gb model anyway. I don't really put anything on it that takes a lot of space other than my music and some movies/tv shows, and I still have over 20gb of free space left. Also I thought I wouldn't be using my Nexus 7 that much but I was wrong, I use it for a few hours a day!
I would, but my budget doesn't allow me for it.
The extra $50 is so worth it, also if you live in the U.S (or Canada too I think) you can buy the 32gb model off of Newegg. It says it's brown but in reality it's the same one you'd get straight from Google, although with Newegg you only pay $1.99 for shipping as opposed to Google's ridiculous S&H prices.
I love the shit out of my Nexus 7 but I swear it's been getting slower and slower. When I need real work done I still have my desktop so my laptop just gathers dust.
I paid $259 for the 16GB model, since it was the "Large" model at the time (Still pissed at Google for that). 16GB is fine and I haven't run into any space issues.
What is the best stock-based ROM for the I9100? Omega? I seriously don't know because everything is basically retarded in that forum.

Does anyone know how I move all my Google Music keeped files from wherever the fuck they are now to my SD card, and make sure that's where music gets saved?
