Nyeh, I upgraded my phone to CM9 and oh my god I forgot how smoooooooth it was.
Sitting on the fence wondering if I should keep a half working CM10.1 build for my Galaxy S3 4G or stay with the 4.1.2 build, purely for the AllShare Cast (wifi TV streaming) goodness (since Samsung was a dick and stopped AllShare Cast from working on custom ROMs)
4.1.2

Feels great in hand and looks awesome! NOW IF I ONLY HAD THE DAMN PHONE.
Is this 4.1.2 for the AT&T GS3?
Will this motivate you to make another Holo redesign concept? :v: For WhatsApp maybe?
loads of people have done whatsapp ones
inb4 shitstorm of "android 4.0 is not smooth" posts
It's smooth when you've been on 2.3.7 for the past 2 months.
loads of people have done whatsapp ones
I know, I was just kinda interested to see your take on it. Anyway, how are you liking the N4?
inb4 shitstorm of "android 4.0 is not smooth" posts
But 4.0 on a Wildfire (S) wouldn't be smooth anyway!
Install SwiftKey and it will be!
But 4.0 on a Wildfire (S) wouldn't be smooth anyway!
Uh no, even the JB builds run smooth as shit on it.
Friend got s3 mini, not bad. now we can stack galaxy phones into a pyramid now!
On the way home today some chavs came past on motorbikes so I had to dodge them, my nexus flew out of my pocket into a stream. I jumped in after it; I must say, it is really water proof, kind of. It survived with a slightly scratched screen, broken headphone jack, broken microphone, stuck volume keys and a really quiet back speaker. I'm not exactly happy about it I must say.
I'm giving away an Ingress beta invite key! everyone that pm me gets a chance to win by a random draw using a randomizer program I made in python. maximum 1 entry per person, only valid where applicable, no purchase necessary, must be on the earth upon entry, you must do the following to win... contest ends tomorrow at 4pm EST where the winner will be announced.
Sup guys, popping up here again to ask another question, what is the best way to transfer files through wireless? I once used FTP servers but they're clunky as fuck, but if anyone knows one that's stable and good enough I might end up using that again.
try airdroid

[editline]7th January 2013[/editline] honestly it's probably the easiest way and the quickest way [editline]7th January 2013[/editline] FTP servers also work just fine if you're hosting them they can be slow if you're not though, other people will be using them
Does anyone here use mycolorscreen by any chance
it's nice to look at pretty homescreens sometimes i even built one myself 3 phones ago
I have a couple on there but nothing worth looking at. http://mycolorscreen.com/BrunoJG/
Very happy with the stock Jellybean update on HTC One X, I'm getting a much better battery life than I was before, has anyone flashed a HTC One X here? Any decent roms? I doubt I will until the warranty expires but interested to know what you guys would recommend.
if you host it properly it will be fast. running an ftp server off phone is usually slow

I think it's just Sense's animations making it seem slow.

It's smooth and goes at a good speed, doesn't make any slowdown very visible while at the same time it doesn't look mechanical or ridiculously fast.
I can vouch for beautiful smoothness mmmm
