The current sense is pretty good, I have it on my Desire C (Awful phone by the way dont buy it) and it runs surprisingly well with the stock launcher
And it looks pretty nice
Meh, I just have the urge to complain about this whenever I browse through xda forums and find a Sense port.
I wonder if Google will actually have the Nexus 4 stocked up enough to keep up with demand within the year.

Stupid me, getting an Sony xperia play. They don't want to update it, cause it could "possibly" damage the gaming performance.. So, I'm stuck here with android 2.3.4

It will damage it, it uses more RAM and games will run slower. Same thing happens on my i9000 with 2.3.6 vs 4.0.4. They did release a test ROM or something like that if I remember correctly.

My mum has been using this update on her S2 for a month or so. Seems rock solid and the performance is amazing.
-snip-
Yes! And they sent the 16gb model too.

Oh god it's so nice to use, I didn't think these modern phones would be much different from my Desire HD but wow.
has google even commmented on stock? seems like they're just sitting ducks not talking about it or anything
Ask LG. It has nothing to do with Google.

Why are you testing on a server 550 kilometers away and how the fuck can you have a ping of 47 over such distances.
I get 4 mb/s internet :v:

on my phone of course
Speedtest mobile didn't let me choose and did it for me, I got upto 31ms ping and 20Mbps download from Liverpool.

jelly.
Hey guys I finally received my Nexus 4 from the playstore!
In a white box, without cables, manuals and anything else that should be included.
This was the last time I ordered ANYTHING from google, what a major fuck up. Contacting them to get me my stuff.
So the Nexus 4 might be locally in stock as soon as next week . Is there a good list of issues to look out for?
From what I remember the biggest ones were: Yellow spots on screen (that might go away), loose buttons/usb port, slight speaker buzzing.
Anything else?

you talking about the play store or in the local shops to you?
If on play store, info please?
Local shops, Google doesn't even bother to sell anything but apps in my country.

oh lucky. Im gonna be so happy when they finally come back in stock here
IMO that's not too far off. US T-Mobile is supposed to start selling them in all stores and most places where LG will sell the phone directly are reporting stock available for mid Jan to beginning of February.
It would be embarrassing for Google to not be selling the N4 online while LG stocks up all the regular shops worldwide.
I just read that in germany there was a big batch of new Nexus 4 being dispatched two days ago. Mine wasn't one of them. :(
Pebble is shipping January 23rd. Color me excited.

Do you know where we can find our backing number to see how far back in line we are? :P
Guys does anyone of you remember the app that allows you to check the "vital functions" of a phone? Displays colors, plays sounds, triggers vibration etc.
Also, possible N4 issues checklist here.
My N4 has none of those problems, even after being in a stream for 5 seconds, what the hell do those people do? Throw their N4s down the stairs?
Also I wouldn't count the yellow tint quite so early
Remember how the rushed iPhones had yellow tint for a few weeks as the glue dried

Mine has the earpiece crackling, but I can't hear it unless I manage to position it perfectly right up against my ear in a silent environment. I don't even know how this got discovered so quickly. Also, newer revisions apparently have a yellow tint to the screen, but I have the first revision and mine is slightly too blue if anything. I fixed it with Franco's screen adjustment app though.
