How's the connectivity? A few Amazon reviews say that it drops signal with a phone frequently.
I've always wanted a smartwatch and even considered dropping over $100 for the motoactv. For $23 this is a steal deal.
Hasn't dropped once for me, I believe the app update fixed that too.
The smartwatch+bluetooth headphones combo on amazon is a pretty good deal too. I've had one that came from my SE Aino for ~3 years now and still works fine, though expect a lot of people asking what is that clipped on your neck. Yeah I'm calling bullshit.
Yeah I'm calling bullshit.
i hope this isnt true myself, but if it is, its going to suck
It's just one website informing about a rumor.
(Unless this is a poorly written article hinting at a Nexus 4 "restart" with new storage options and whatnot)
And this is why Google will never choose LG. Samsung/HTC/Sony on the other hand can handle such demand. If it's true.
And this is why Google will never choose LG. Samsung/HTC/Sony on the other hand can handle such demand.
Uh I'd imagine LG would be able to handle a fair amount more than HTC or Sony because they can make their own interal parts like the display. Sony and HTC can't.

Sony can't make displays (for phones) but they have TVs and displays for cameras/camcorders, etc? I dunno, I guess they could have got them from other makers.
thought on my TF201 homescreen?

Which one do you like best?

Actually I'm not sure about Sony and displays. Samsung owns all of S-LCD now.
Bought the S3 instead of Note II, didn't really need that monster screen.
Yeah I'm calling bullshit.
Actually, I missed this before, but the article is superbullshit:
Recent rumours claimed that the successor of LG Nexus 4 will sport a powerful 2GHz quad core processor and upcoming Android Key Lime Pie OS.
Bought the S3 instead of Note II, didn't really need that monster screen.
but the note II has the better battery life
my S3 is pretty poor battery wise :v:
There's gonna be an S3 official extended battery that'll be just 100mAh less than the Note 2, so you could get that.
we're in a time of such speculation again?
Why would LG stop production on a so sought after item? This is complete and utter bullshit. I call bad journalism on that ONE source.

That would be great. An official battery with an official back cover. I've been tempted to get a third-party extended battery, but the covers make it look like a shitty HTC phone.
Damn, really feels awesome using the S III after ZTE Blade.
Also my phone's upload speed is 3 Mbps while our ISP only supports 1 Mbps to where I live.

I have to call bullshit as well. Otherwise, it would have my last phone beat for short production run. My HTC Eris lasted a grand total of 6 months before being declared EOL.
Hey guys what do you think of the Sony XPeria Z?
Would you think it'd get rooted/CM quickly? How would the updates be? I'm not sure about Sony's status of Android updates. I heard the phone they showed at CES 2012 (XPeria ION?) was still on Gingerbread.
The phone looks mighty fine, though.
The Z I believe is released in February (18th?) in Europe, and has a lot of things going for it, I think Sony are faster with updates than others like Samsung too.
O2's ICS firmware for the GS2 is just the worst. Poor performance, crashing, video files that are recorded don't render properly in a video editor, and I'm still stuck on 4.0.3 with no new updates showing. Maybe time to root.

CM10.1 nightly, do it.
I run it on my i9100, works fine.
Japan Display Inc. (“JDI”) today announced that its business activities began on April 1, as initially planned. JDI aims to become a global leading company in the field of small- and medium-sized displays, with a focus on the growing global market for smartphones and tablets. The company was launched following investment by Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (“INCJ”), Sony Corporation (“Sony”), Toshiba Corporation (“Toshiba”) and Hitachi, Ltd. (“Hitachi”), which facilitated the integration of the small- and medium-sized display businesses of Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi.
If I'm not mistaken JDI displays are in the new Xperia Z, I saw a picture of the just display itself it was as thin as the JDI display models at a conference.

CM/Root might not take long as Sony is dev friendly but official updates will take a while since they add their own flare with it, the Xperia Z UI takes up 5GB, I have the Ion ICS came out like a month or two afterwards it wasn't that long but only delayed because of AT&T. I would love to get the Xperia Z imo and I might.
changed the build.prop file to get into phone mode on my tablet.
The home buttons went missing, it was a pain to fix

It's when Sony starts slapping on current gen stuff such as quad cores onto their phones. Based on Sony's current developer support I'd say yes.
Anybody know if there's any way to up the 16 icon limit in folders?
Use a different launcher?
And would you happen to know any launcher I could use which lets you do that?
